A man died because of what Hughes did. He also Fled the scene. Went on the run for 36 hours so all alcohol /drugs were out of his system. He is the lowest of the low and no sentence could or will put right what he did. And by the way he didn't serve his time, he served 3 of a paltry 6 years...
