Yes but some players like Murphy never learn after last weeks screw up. He almost did exactly the same 1st half when he should have cleared it but decided to play across 6 yard box to defender. You cannot accept that and if they are professionals - which they are - some of the players have to accept that responsibility and we have the right to our opinion.

Each and every player is as good at football as he is. If we have below average talent for our league it's because that's who the manager decided to buy, within the limitations of the funds provided. Blaming people, repeatedly and agressively, for simply performing to their ability is not only pointless and counter-productive. It is also mean-spirited, negative, stupid and demotivating.

One more thought on this. Each and every one of those young lads out there grew up wanting to play football. Most of them would have kicked a ball around since they were 5 or 6 dreaming of being Roy of the Rovers. They are still young - even the eldest of them is barely out of their 20s. And then you see grown middle aged men shouting abuse at them like the bullies they are. Is that how they bought up their own children? It breaks my heart.

I do think it is the players not caring, its down to the players being out of their league and not simply good enough to perform (as a team) in this division. We will find our feet next year in the right league!

Agree Steve but unleash frustrations on the real culprits, those who's fault it is that we are playing sub standard players and kids, unleash frustrations at those feckers SISU. I really fail to see why city fans cannot grasp the connection between having a shit team at the bottom of the second division and owners who refuse to invest, who sell any decent players, lie constantly and don't give a toss about the team or the supporters. Guess its easier to boo a goalkeeper or young defender.

That's the trouble though for me. We can't get to the people that are causing this situation so it's natural that the frustration will come out at the players. Not saying that's right by the way
