    16,000 where were you?

Exactly. They're lucky that I'm even thinking about it! Judging by the comments on the CT, many aren't...

    16,000 where were you?

They haven't got Sky and aren't tech savvy enough to find streams online (plus signal is crap where they live in the countryside).

    16,000 where were you?

Don't underestimate the bargain ticket price against Gills, NW-there will have been thousands of fans who went to the game because they could afford it, many of whom hadn't been since the Crewe JPT game-my dad and two of my brothers amongst them! It also says something about the occaision that...

    16,000 where were you?

So lets get this straight: some people find it "unacceptable" that a year spent away from Coventry hasn't resulted in a boost in average attendences upon our return? Aside from the first game back, why on earth should it? If that had been the case, we'd be hailing SISU's genius "absence = heart...

Yup. Shades of Andy Morrell's cartoon-legs at times.

In terms of his "oh, I really thought that he was older than that"-ness, do you know who he reminds me of? McSheffrey towards the end. Only 31 but moves more like 34. But I still didn't think that he was that bad: he's OK with his back to goal, links play and closes down. Just doesn't look like...

I think O'Brien's movement is superb, he buzzes around and makes those runs from deep. His pass for the goal to Haynes was quality, he works hard and he was unlucky not to score. After the brilliant pass by Thomas *cough*.

Despite your attempt to imply that I have alone have poor judgement, I'm happy enough to be agreeing with the likes of Stupot and Otis rather than you.

CWR confirms that it was Thomas who played that lovely pass.

Misplaced a couple of passes and caught in possession once, but otherwise some good passing and pressing. I really like his movement, especially that forward run down the right near the end. Gets forwards well now-shame he'll never be able to finish!

Ha, Pressley recounting Haynes' puke moment!

He looks frustrated, a bit like he knows that he can't do what he used to be able to do. Y'know, like Clinton Morrison usually did! His workrate and link-up play are reasonable, but I can't see him scoring goals.

Agree on Tudgay, looks over the hill, but Thomas has been good. Faded a bit, but certainly hasn't been poor.

Shame about the finish by O'Brien, but it was another one of those Robson-esque late runs from midfield from him that lead to a lot of our best chances. Anyone see who played the cracking ball in to him? Hmm, two defenders on for a defender and a striker...hatches battoned down.

I'd give Burge a run in the side I think, but we won't as we've got a decent record with Allsop in the side.
