It's Burton's mean defence that worries me, best defensive record in the league. We really need to be firing on all cylinders to break them down early, 'cos 9/10 times they score first and go on to win.

Aber what?! Sounds like a Norwegian death metal band, haha.

Moaning about the little things in life

Aren't 'messy' people sometimes considered more creative and more intellectual. Of course I'm eliminating lazy feckers who wallow in their own filth. Can't recall who submitted the theory, but it was about 'tidy minds and scruffy minds'.

If he only lasts an hour, or slightly under, at least we can gauge his effectiveness. He might very well be the aggressive attacking element we need against a mean defence like Burton.

Do we think he may deploy Hunt today?

    Antisocial Neighbours

On a lighter note, Mr Glasgow is always good to deploy...I used to wind my mate up with prank calls from a "Willy McGlasgow" who was confusing my mate with someone who was: not delivering his weed on time, not picking him up from a heroin run, getting his 16 year old daughter up the duff and not...

Official January transfer window for CCFC

This pretty much echoes my thoughts on the requirement of another handy forward, one who can score goals, link up well and play off Arma/replace Arma if need be. Smith would fit TM's bill, absolutely.

Closest footballing epicentre to me is probably Swansea tbh...even then, it's a good 80+ miles away. Wonder how Aberystwth are doing these days...

Do You Need To Go The Gym ?

I've always hated the gym, tbh, but I've never really required it in the past; martial arts kept me fit - Jiu-Jitsu, Tae-kwon Do and Ninjutsu. The old knees aren't up to the former two, so I'm looking for a Ninjutsu class close to me...which presents a problem, since I'm 20 miles from...

Moaning about the little things in life

Indeed, sometimes you wanna open up a bit, but then it's the old male pride and stiff upper lip kicking in that prevents it. Plus, there's that niggle that people on a forum will see you as an attention seeker if you post family stuff... There's plenty I don't say, particularly about family...

have we got the upper hand

Indeed, he may very well be. Personally, I think he'll either be outstanding or anonymous. The former, hopefully. I know he can play as a striker, perhaps that's what TM has in mind for him.

    Simeon Jackson

7 in 18 games so far, which isn't bad. Always mystified me why Pressley didn't play him more.

    Film Thread 2015

Solace, starring Anthony Hopkins and the quite delicious Abbie Cornish. Didn't have much hope for this one, it seemed too cliche, but I recommend it to everyone; it's a thriller bordering on sci-fi at times. I won't say too much about the plot, 'cos it's a pleasant surprise. Overall, I'd...

    Simeon Jackson

That's a lot of if's and but's, who says he'll be with Blackburn next season? Who says we're definitely 100% going up? Even if all transpires well for us, I still hope Jackson finds some form and regains his confidence. He didn't dishonour the club or incite the fans in his time here, he was a...

have we got the upper hand

Exactly this. We will be there or thereabouts, definitely top 6, however to make that extra push we require another striker and definitely another commanding centre half.

    Simeon Jackson

Indeed, confidence is key to a player's game, especially a centre forward. Jackson really isn't a bad striker, hopefully he finds some form at Blackburn.

    Cocky

Not even worth contemplating really, same ol' shite every time someone gets the boot. No way would TM switch to Bristol - not a bleeding chance, my dears.
