True and that could be an issue early on. Conversely, towards the end of the season our players should be fresher than the bulk of the others, who will effectively be nearing the end of a 55 league game season.

This was back in the 80’s. All weather pitch not far off the M32. Main problem was avoiding cricket balls from the guys having nets there (without nets).
