When we get the ball, Swansea are very quick to foul to stop any chance of a break

    Coventry Strikers

I think what Robson said was that he wanted to see how he did against his defence (Beatie & Hunter?) to see if he was worth the money. Remember the old scoreboard on the Kop showing "Ferguson 4 Ipswich 1" during the game.

    Our home support

Ticket sales for Saturday are going fairly well. You have to assume that in the event of us making the play-offs, the home leg would sell out. The question is, how many would we be able to sell? Would the SAG still insist on keeping blocks 11, 12 and 13 closed?

    Tommy Hutchison Book

A friend of mine was a youngster on City's books in the 60's. He said that the day he knew he wouldn't make it was when a scrawny little red haired kid turned up at training and ran rings round everyone.

Plus Willie Carr, Quinton Young, Gary Gillespie and I'm sure others that I've missed. Not sure that O'Rourke was Scottish though - always thought he was English?

    Hull crowd

21k would be disappointing for tomorrow, but a few years ago if you'd said you'd be disappointed by "only 21k" against unfashionable opponents, you'd have been locked up for your own safety!

    Songs We No Longer Sing

We all agree Coventry City are magic or its close relation We all agree Ian Wallace is magic or depending on who we were playing, something like We all agree Nottingham Forest are tragic

Didn't we sign Noel Whelan pretty soon afterwards?

    Blocks 2 & 3..

Interesting. They were certainly blanked out when I was looking this morning, but they're back now.

It was difficult to tell if they were any good or not in the first half hour, as they hardly had a kick of the ball!

    The Orange Ball

Think the Ipswich game was called off due to floodlight failure. I remember the programme for the next home game had a jokey article that said that Colin Stein's header, that gave us the lead, had been so powerful it had drilled into the ground and gone through the power cable! Worrying that I...
