Allardyce: "Cov are crap at defending, lets get at them!"

http://www.kumb.com/story.php?id=125813 Erm, Sam, you add "goals scored" to that list of potential weaknesses as well. :(

City in praise from opposition manager shocker!

    Six points away from safety

7 really taking our goal difference into account. Its getting to the point where the quality of performances are becoming irrelevant. By all accounts, we played well but a defeat is a defeat. :(

I don't want SISU to have any part of the Arena....

....even if that has the side-effect of hurting the club. The City of Coventry and Coventry City Council needs the Ricoh Arena. I'm not convinced that Coventry City Football Club needs SISU. As a Coventry taxpayer, I don't want SISU anywhere near what is a fantastic, award-winning facility...

    Good result for us today

Always nice to keep a clean sheet. Midfield and forwards were quiet, and so was the crowd. Bell didn't do anything today. Ho-Hum. :)

Some of our former players are doing well

Westwood - cracking saves yesterday Fox - Peach of a cross yesterday, has a good chance of playing Premier League football if Saints keep it up Cork - As above Best - Has really come good at Newcastle. Wasn't too bad here (I know other will disagree). Dann - Was a defensive rock at Brum, I...

    Reid; Adams; Dowie; Coleman; Boothroyd

Were all these managers truly rubbish before being sent to Cov? Or is it the overriding stench of failure that's to blame? The stench which overrides any good qualities managers (and players) have once they come here? Or is it about the lack of money? And false promises made to various...

    Saints (H), West Ham (H), Cardiff (H), Brighton (A), Pompey (A), Hull (H)

Can see us getting jack-squat out of that lot, maybe a fluky point at Brighton. Cardiff will probably get their now traditional late winner at CV6 (Gunny corner, Turner headed goal knowing our luck). Saints and West Ham must be licking their lips at the thought of playing us. Score the 1st...

    Admit it...

...with every missed chance, you knew Millwall would make us pay. 63% possession at 1 point and missing chances from left, right and center. We're simply not good enough for this league. I don't care what Thorn says, we deserve to be 4 points away from safety. Mid-table team my arse!

    The East Midlands Slayers

City 2 vs 0 Derby City 1 vs 0 Forest I fancy our chances at Leicester. :D

Will we let Thorn get a good night's sleep?

Or should someone start rumours again suggesting he's gonna quit?:D

Will BBC cuts mean reduced coverage of the City by CWR?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011/oct/06/bbc-cuts-2000-jobs I'm guessing we might end up with a Midlands Sports show, broadcasted from say, Brum, which would cover all the local teams and CWR would take that feed.

"As a senior player I expected him to give me a hell of a lot more"

I suspect Freddie isn't the only senior player Thorn could be talking about.

Silence will (probably not) fall when The Question is asked

The oldest question in the universe. Its been hidden in plain sight. The Question: Is relegation to League 1 due to lack of investment part of the SISU master-plan for CCFC?

    Well, I hope their happy!

I'm referring to the fans who took their SISU OUT banners to Portman Road. Clearly they distracted the players! Cranie for instance had his eye on a banner while attempting to clear the (excellent) cross for the 1st goal! DISGRACEFUL SUPPORT!! :slap: ;)
