It's rare you get exciting games like that though. Rugby is a slower build, but I don't think ice hockey is at all. The smaller playing area makes it a much quicker and versatile game where you can literally score within' seconds.

Have you seen football fans? They look, act and are far worse. I don't post much on here anymore as I've kinda stopped watching football. I still watch Ice Hockey and Rugby (cup/six nations), but a few months ago I was just sitting at a football game and it just sort of hit me how boring of a...

    Winter olympics

Enjoyed the snowboarding, luge, skiing, moguls and the ice hockey so far. The ice hockey has been great, nhl, khl players etc all playing nationally. Some really high tempo games too. Bit annoyed by the bbc. Seem to be ignoring the hockey in favour of anything else really. They had three...

    Xbox one or PS4???

2K?! What was it? an overpriced mac? I've never spent that. Built mine for about £350. Had it about 3/4 years now. Hasn't been a game yet I can't play. PC gaming isn't for everyone. I've never come across any hacking and about 98% of the games on consoles are on PC too. So..

    Xbox one or PS4???

Can't remember the last time I had to "tweak" my PC to get a game to work. Back in the early years of PC gaming, you'd be correct. It was a right pain. But now, not so much. Most games are now optimised to wok well on most configurations. As for the hackers, I don't play online games, so I...

How Computer Games Changed The World

Seemed more like the American version of the video games world. They completely forget to mention Sega and how Nintendo didn't give a damn about Europe for a long time. Still don't to some degree.

    Xbox one or PS4???

Will get a PS4 later down the line, but I'm stick with PC at the moment. Not much out for me that warrants a new console purchase yet. Was really hoping we'd see more then just the usually sloth of FPS and sports games. Was hoping to see some adventure games like Shenmue, Broken Sword, Deadly...

    Xbox one or PS4???

If you want a racing game, that new need for speed is suppose to be good. Uncharted 4 has been announced and so has Order 1866. Infamous 3 is coming out soon too if your into that. They'll be a load of 3rd party games coming too. PS4 will also have a load of great indie games to download...

    Xbox one or PS4???

It will be interesting to see how the Xbox one does now. With the 360, they did well in the US and UK. The rest of Europe and Asia is normally Sony's arena with everywhere else being 50/50. With the lower price, I suspect, the PS4 could make a dent in the UK market just like it has in America.

    Xbox one or PS4???

Bit of an update. One of the lead designers for Call of Duty has come out and confirmed the following: XBO version of COD: Ghosts will run at 60FPS, but at 720p up scaled to 1080p (basically, image is stretched) PS4 version runs at 60FPS at full 1080p. Knew they'd be a difference...

    Xbox one or PS4???

Technically speaking, Forza looks a lot better. Frame rate, better resolution and graphics, but the team behind the Forza series have had years with MS and their technology, so its to be expected. The team behind Driveclub have had a lot less time and it shows. It's a shame not to have the...

    Xbox one or PS4???

In short, yes. They're both offering the same sort of framerate, but the key difference is PS4 is pumping out a higher resolution of 1600x900p(better picture quality), while XBO runs at 1280x720p. These tests are only on Battlefield 4, but I'd be surprised to see other third party games don't...

PS4 vs XBO frame rate test: http://youtu.be/MWzkw32amOM PS4 version of Battlefield 4 runs at 1600x900p XBO version of Battlefield 4 runs at 1280x720p NOTE: Youtube use their own video compression methods, which means you won't fully be-able to tell the difference. It's still a pretty...

    Xbox one or PS4???

PS4 for me. Cheaper, powerful, better exclusives, better UI, better indie support and they treat their customers better. Don't want kinect, sick of all the ads cluttering the 360 UI, MS seems to taint and destroys any company they get hold of too.

    Moving to Coventry-Advice please

Not trying to be rude, but why Coventry? There are plenty of places in the UK that offer a lot more and are actually cheaper to live in.
