    Fortress ricoh....

Close the Telegraph. Move the fans by the scoreboard further towards the middle of the pitch. Move the away fans closer to the scoreboard. There will still still be a fair distance to stop any knobheads chucking stuff or trying anything. The sets of fans will be facing each other more, creating...

    Stuart Linnell

He lost the plot last season. Whilst I agreed with him that Thorn was in a situation that many experienced managers would have struggled with, his tone towards those wanting Thorn out was disgraceful. Talking over supporters with "You don't know anything about football if..." was ridiculous...

    Lap Of Honour

That was Marcus Halls last game for us and Coleman (inexcusably i.m.o) left him on the bench for the entire game. Still don't really like Coleman because of that! I expected us to finish about 8th before this season started. Given the financial situation and the start we had I'm relieved...

    Ricoh station delayed

Disgraceful, should have been there when it opened. I was really looking forward to it, it would make having a beer in town before the game so much easier. I dread to think how long and over budget HSR2 will turn out if the authorities are struggling with this.

    Rent-A-Ref

Did anyone else see him reach for a yellow for their number 6 after a late foul on Bailey in the middle of the pitch, then stop when he saw who it was and realised he was already booked? His hand was in his pocket and it was definitely a yellow! Fair play on the penalty though, see so many of...

Are we the worst team to support in England?

I got my first season ticket when we finished 11th in the PL under Strachan. Robbie Keane season aside, its been pretty awful. I feel lucky to have seen us in the top flight and I think our supporters who didn't can argue that they've supported the worst team in England. We've done nothing apart...

Are we the worst team to support in England?

The only team who consistently disappoint like Cov is the national team. Stuck with both!

Away Days 2012/2013 - The Best & Worst

MK Dons away was my favourite. Moussa's goal was so good. Sheff Utd was also fun. Quite enjoyed Oldham away. I like the old, traditional grounds.

    U21's today

I find our supporters unbearable in that situation, there's nothing wrong with passing backwards. Admittledly it tends to be when we're losing and fustrated, but its still the wrong attitude. Passing football is the best philosophy - Look at the first half against Donny, not only were they...

    Bailey

It was hardly a nightmare debut. Before the game I was worried that we had an untried youth player in our team, but individually, he had a decent game considering they were PL at the time.

    thrown out of bescot

I'm not a smoker, but I do think its silly that other grounds don't let supporters out at half time. As already mentioned, it just creates problems for us non smokers when the toilets are full of people having a fag.

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

He certainly sounded smug talking about the PL scouts he knows. I like the live commentary, but Linell makes it painful to listen to.

What ever happened to Rob Gurney

On the radio now. Send Linell to cover the Walsall commentary!

    Villa going down?

I hope Wigan stay up. A club prepared to stick with their manager and also just about manage to survive every season. I remember when we were in the PL doing the same and I've always quite liked them for it. Villa, QPR and Sunderland would be a decent bottom three!

What ever happened to Rob Gurney

If you ever go to the football museum in Manchester, there's a bit where you can listen to that commentary.

    "administrations not a bad thing"

I think he's another one in the media who doesn't understand how complex this situation is. He talked about a fresh start next season but I highly doubt that'll be the case. I also think that play off experience would have been useful, even if we didn't go up.

    Stuart Linnell should be sacked

Personally I don't think the phone ins ever been the same since Gurney left. He was on for one game last season and his voice reminds me of our better days. Didn't mind Geoff or Clive, but Linell shouldn't be on it. His shouting down of those who wanted Thorn out was awful to listen to. His...

    Callum ball

The shot that went out for a throw was one where you have to almost come over the top of the ball to strike it forward. Ball may have fluffed it, but I guarantee you that a lot of PL players would have struggled to hit the target with that.

    Callum ball

I thought Ball was ok yesterday. Their two centre backs, particularly no.5 were units and I think Cody would have been bullied yesterday. Our biggest problem is the state of the pitch.

Fans going down without a fight.....?

I agree with your second point. The last ten years of crap have meant that the supporters aren't as passionate. I remember people jumping into the directors box at HR during the Richardson era. I think social media also has a part to play in that. It's far easier to stick "#SISUout" on a tweet...
