    Jake Daniels comes out

Saw yesterday that a young Championship player was about to come out. Good on Jake and hopefully every player can now live their life as they want to without being judged. A real positive step forward. Found myself sort of hoping it was one of ours so that we could all vociferously support him

    Next year Season tickets

What I would love to see would be so many Cov fans that the away allocation is reduced to the minimum. Totally illogical I know but I resent the presence of the away fans. I know, I know, we are away fans for half the games and I should have grown out of it by now, but I can’t help it.

    Thank you Jordan Shipley

He has memories that nobody can ever take away from him, the part he played in our revival will never be forgotten, and a great down to earth local lad to boot

Match Thread Stoke City (A) - Sat 7th May 12:30

Absolutely. The table obviously reflects the order of points but not the order of everything, dirty play for example. There are not 11 better teams than us in this league. I think we should really be in the play offs or at worst have missed out by one or two places.

Well you sounded pretty loud to me

    Sky Blue Army

Got invited into corporate hospitality today by an Albion mate so sat on half way by the directors box. Have to say I was well proud of the SBA, really loud, completely out sang them and lots of muttered comments around us to the effect ‘let’s shut that lot up’

    Bournemouth fans

I imagine any Bournemouth fans visiting this forum are loving this, and seeing us as salty. However…I had family in Boscombe near their ground and visited every year. They were always a small club, third or fourth division until their Russian sugar daddy turned up. The most appropriate chant...

Are we getting a name for ourselves off the pitch?

Well it takes two to tango. I think that fighting at football is for idiots and in 53 years of attending I’ve never hit anybody or even come close…but at Derby a couple of weeks ago I might have made an exception so I can understand it a little

    Remarkable but Concerning

We could be Derby, then we’d have something to moan about!

    Blues protest vs Us

Never had anything against Derby until this year, now despise them and their fans. Was just walking up the steps last week and pretty much every Derby fan on the other side started having a go particularly one specky retard who looked like he was on day release. Wasn’t sure if the bloke next...

Do the Man Utd Leamington Supporters Club get singled out for special treatment too?

    Singers Corner Blocks 14-17

I’m a veteran of the old West End in the early 1970s (I was only a kid) and at times in there you couldn’t hear yourself think but the concrete overhang of the West Stand meant most of the noise stayed in there and could hardly be heard anywhere else. This season the noise in the corner is...

    8 points better off

Finishing isn’t it. We absolutely battered Blues, Huddersfield and QPR for example and came away with 2 points where we should have had 9

Match Thread Cov vs QPR Sat 22nd Jan

Those perennially negative wankers on this forum who delight in winding up everyone else should read this (and you know who you are, Grendel, and your little group of arse licking acolytes). This reflects the game everyone else watched.

Teams you have an irrational hate for

I think the hatred tends to stem from some wanker you know who constantly goes on about their team. I never had anything against West Brom until I worked with a bloke who never shut up about them. As a kid at school I was the only Cov fan amongst Man Utd, Leeds, Arsenal and Liverpool...

Oh Lord - RIP John Sillett

So sad. As with Jimmy Hill and George Curtis. My old man was born in the city centre 2 days before the Luftwaffe destroyed it and he was so passionate about the Sky Blues and brought me up a City fanatic as I’ve done with my lad. He loved Jimmy, George and John. Every legend’s passing takes...
