Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Some of the wage rumours being thrown around our fanbase of what our players are on are nonsense. People saying the likes of Binks and Simms are our top earners are untrue. They're not even in our top 4 earners. O'hare is a good example as he's left so don't mind discussing, he was on 8k pw...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Agreed, can't seeing him breaking through there now. Like i say, i'd love it if we did pursue him on a permanent, just can't see it finances wise. From what the player has said himself, sounds like he's fed up of the loans and wants to his next move to be a settled one. We'll see what happens...

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

The way Pep is happy to give younger ones a chance, you'd think he would have given him his chance most certainly by now if he was in his plans.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Yeah, whats he valued at? The fee could possibly be spread but the wages i think would be an issue, it would mean breaking our wage structure for sure, unless he was happy to take a lower wage.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Would love us to go back in for Doyle, 7 assists this season and experienced now, despite still being young. Just not sure on the finance side of things if it's possible.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Not heard any names yet, hoping to find out more once we know whether we are going up or staying put.

Transfer Rumour 25/26 Summer Transfer Window

Not heard anything about a striker. The last we spoke about was that it was his understanding there was a big recruitment meeting in London, there were 2 lists drawn up. There has been communication with a few agents, but we'd be waiting on the outcome of this season before advancing. It was...

Match Thread Sunderland - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 13th May

I think whatever they come up with, whatever line up they put out, adaptability will be key. If it's not working then Lampard needs to have the bravery to change things early or try something different.

Yeah this exactly. That's all it takes, just to get them worried enough to start getting on their backs and it can all change.

Of course. Hopefully, we come up with a plan, they are all keen to put things right and get at them. Sakamoto had them in bits at times, we need more of that, some bravery and aggression. All it takes is for their fans to get a bad feeling and things could start to swing in our favour.

Match Thread Coventry v Sunderland Championship Playoff 1st Leg Friday 9th May

I think if we score the first goal, their plan goes out of the window. Haven't there been times this season when their fans have been booing them, despite the amount of time spent in the top 6. Think the place becomes nervy if we can grab the first goal.

    Team for tuesday

Agreed. From a generational point of view, if we had to accept a bid for one of our 3 top assets, it would be him. I think 2 of the 3 forwards go this summer. I'd like to keep my optimistic hat on and say we'll make it to the prem and have our war chest.

    Yeah, we definitely miss Torp.

I think he goes in the summer if we remain in the championship.

Grimes the only real stand out for me tonight. Sakamoto not too far behind. Credit to Rudoni for doing what he has been doing all season. I'd like for us to get a bit more creative with set pieces. I noticed Sunderland tried a couple of different things tonight, which thankfully we were alert...

    Sakamoto

Oh. That is strange. I know the dressing room wasn't in a great place (pre Lampard), but that was more of a collective. Never heard anything about a bad attitude from Rudoni as an individual.

    Sakamoto

No idea where that came from about Kitching, think i said back at that time i did ask about him if that rumour was true, was told he'd actually been ill, and other things had kept him out of contention, but was a complete professional and got his head down.

    Sakamoto

    From Rudoni?
  19. J

    Sakamoto

Yeah, it definitely wasn't aimed at any of the main group. I don't think there was any malice in it, like you say speaking negatively is not his approach. The way i was told when we were discussing it too, there wasn't any hint of unrest, just that there were murmurings that they could be...

That's it isn't it. I think i said not long ago that the thing that will set Rudi apart from others his age, is the way he trains and staying behind after training to understand his role better, working on the tactics, arriving in the box and shots etc. Lampard talked about this yesterday how he...
