Ricoh Open Day ... This is how to do it.

Right now all that talent instead goes to Worcester Warriors, arguably earlier than it would go to Wasps, since they're in the Championship and will be at the bottom of the AP if they promote (not guaranteed). Should Wasps take over the region, then those players will remain at Coventry for...

Ricoh Open Day ... This is how to do it.

When there were overlapping fixtures then Wasps would play on Sundays, but last season they played the majority of their AP fixtures on Saturday. This season it's all on Sundays due to the survey that was done.

Ricoh Open Day ... This is how to do it.

Can't say about CCFC, but CRFC will likely be stronger with Wasps around. It probably won't be enough for them to be threatening the premiership, but solid championship will definitely be the aim.

Ricoh Open Day ... This is how to do it.

Give it a week and that'll come back round as someone saying they're sure they read that Wasps are going to make CCFC play on Thursdays :D. Wasps won't want to conflict with CRFC or CCFC.

Ricoh Open Day ... This is how to do it.

Wasps play on Sundays because that's when the majority of current and ex-STH requested to play. Of course, they may not still want Sunday once it's in Coventry, but that's why it was Sunday originally. It is useful for potentially getting on TV more though.

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

I'm sure I read that CCFC will be moving into the away dressing room, whilst 2 unused offices will be converted into the new away dressing room. If that's the case, I'd guess it's upto CCFC if they want to add any personal touches or not. As to CCFC moving away, it might be in their best...

Pressley really has lost the dressing room.

I'd guess that Wasps intend to fully customise the dressing room to be filled with Wasps memorabilia and perhaps a setup like England Rugby have with the names of past greats for each shirt on plaques on the wall under the hooks. By CCFC moving to the away changing room they too can have a...

    Rent or own stadium?

Freehold would allow you to tear it down and build housing if you so chose (OK, you'd need planning for the housing, but if you've torn it down already, who's going to refuse). Lease wouldn't.

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

Posted this before. http://robsbl0g.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/wasps-ricoh-stadium-or-die.html?m=1 Richardson is primary shareholder of MGI.

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

Alright then, so who else is it a well known fact to? Since right now it's not looking so well known. My dad always comes out with the precursor "It's a well known fact" normally followed by bigotry, conspiracy or plain old idiocy.

Meet Wasps Tonight And Ask Your Questions

London Wasps Holdings (Wasps) owns the ACL.

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

Really? Richardson only came on board to Wasps in 2013... interesting well known fact there.

I think I'm going to be sick !

BSB, any very promising talent at CRFC will already be moving onwards and upwards. But at the moment that sees them going to Worcester. If the RFU remaps, there'll be no change in the talent lost, but it will mean that the talent stays in Coventry. CRFC will likely get to work far closer with...

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

Richardson is the primary shareholder in MGI, so if he doesn't own Wasps directly, he owns it through MGI anyway. Wasps will probably want a pitch with shorter grass to allow for a better running game, we've got some of the quickest players in the premiership and will want to be using them.

I think I'm going to be sick !

I'd guess it will probably help CRFC get to the championship, but it won't help them make it to the premiership. There again, considering there's a side in the championship with a billionaire backer that isn't guaranteed to make it to the premiership (and failed last season too), I think Cov...

I think I'm going to be sick !

Considering the 3500 free tickets were those given to local schools and rugby clubs, I'm not sure why you getting free tickets from the rugby club would suggest there were more freebies...

So 6300 are either free or irrespective of if the person actually turns up.

Meet Wasps Tonight And Ask Your Questions

I agree, even if he knows there's no chance in hell, he probably wouldn't even answer no. I'd think overall you're better off asking questions about match day experience (who's in charge of the CCFC match day experience, shops, beer prices, available bars etc), and if it's Wasps/ACL do they...

Meet Wasps Tonight And Ask Your Questions

Ah, understood. Not quite the same though is it. Do you have enough money to survive indefinitely losing 4million a year, no, I'll last 4 years. Then, with a new stadium, having the money to takeover (speculation anyway) another sports team, for which you have a stadium already, isn't quite...

Meet Wasps Tonight And Ask Your Questions

So that's rather different than the original post stating that Wasps had suggested the money had already run out, and were lying to the fans, when they never stated that at all.
