SISU's silence since the Judicial Review decision went against them, together with Haskell and Byng both still being on the scene makes me wonder if there aren't discussions going on behind the scenes. May not amount to anything, but SISU are progressively being boxed into a corner with fewer...

Preston Haskell at the Council yesterday ?

Everybody jumping to conclusions here. How do we know it's not a re-born CCFC that's being discussed ? Or maybe what the deal would be for CCFC to return if SISU sold out Interesting that SISU have been quiet since the Judicial Review was kicked out, and the likes of Haskell and Byng are back...

Having the application for a Judicial Review knocked back has I think caused SISU to review their whole strategy, including the "new stadium". Instead of the normal bullish statement, SISU have been quiet since the JR was knocked back. Let's hope they finally see sense and realise the game is...

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

Wonder if ACL will sue SISU for the "unlawfully withheld rent" ? Time somebody put SISU on the back foot and tried to distress them. Might force them out.

Breaking News - Judge kicks out SISU's judicial review against CCC / ACL

Knocks back SISU's hopes of distressing Ricoh stakeholders to gain ownership of Arena ? If this is confirmed on (expected) appeal does that now mean SISU have absolutely no connection or leverage re Ricoh ? Could have knock-on effect on the whole of SISU's strategy ?

    Coventry 1883

All those who are in favour of a new club need to get together and form a single way forward. Possible investors like Haskell, Hoffman and Elliott together with the SBT who have over 2000 members need to be involved. OK, you won't take everybody with you, at least not to start with, but...

Baker, Clarke & Murphy Told To Go

They might not have been actually told they can go, but it sends a message to other clubs that any half reasonable offer would be accepted.

    Coventry 1883 at the Ricoh?

AFC Wimbledon joined at level 9 and got 5 promotions in 9 years to get to League 2. What a roller coaster ride if we did the same.

    Coventry 1883 at the Ricoh?

Would there not be major policing and security issues about putting a club with potentially four figure support in say the Midland Combination where they would be playing on parks pitches ?

    Coventry 1883 at the Ricoh?

Doesn't have anything to do with it.

    Coventry 1883 at the Ricoh?

No we wouldn't. If you read about Chester, they were slotted in 4 steps below League 2. The criteria are ground, support, catchment area. The Ricoh is far bigger than the Deva Stadium, we have better support, and a larger catchment area.

Could a new team be formed?

Real Coventry, great name, double meaning, time is due. One thing about a new club is that SISU can't stop it, influence it, or sue it ! Give them nothing to come back to, make Tim's shed a white elephant. SISU would wither at Northampton, relegation is now almost certain. Let's plan for a...

    Breaking news about Rent Deal

Previous ACL offers have resulted in an immediate rejection out of hand from SISU. Not so this time. They are obviously considering it seriously ahead of what must surely be the last creditors meeting. Is this really crunch time ? Friday will be the biggest of all big days.

On balance, I still want this to fall through...

Although I have never sided with SISU, I want this to go through because: 1. It would mean games played at the Ricoh, which everyone wants. 2. It would mean we come out of admin quickly, which might give us a chance on the playing side to stay up. 3. It kills off the threat of the Judicial...

    Breaking news about Rent Deal

It sounds as if ACL believe they've got SISU on the ropes and are determined to make the most of it ?

Joy willing to meet with Ann Lucas

Hope something comes of this, but SISU really have to get their PR sorted. If they are serious about running a football club they have to be much more transparent about what they are doing, and why. Failure to do this has led people to believe that every action they take has a hidden agenda...

    Discussions - just an opinion

Business wise SISU are sharp, and you tangle with them at your peril. Other aspects like PR they have been poor though.
