Every player needs to win their individual battles. Bleedin' obvious but that's what it will come down to now.

Match Thread Coventry City - Portsmouth FC Match Thread - Wednesday 9th Apr

The most difficult games at this time of the season are against teams battling relegation, going for automatic promotion or the playoffs. Our injuries are piling up and it looks like we are having to play with some players not 100%. We do not have an easy game from here on in. Playing wingers...

8th Worst Stadium in the Country

When the Ricoh opened it felt crap. Think it has improved in leaps and bounds especially since King (who I have criticised regularly) took over. Think 12:30 kick offs don't help the atmosphere. Possibly less time to get pissed. Fans and Managers of other clubs have commented on the great...

    Keepers

My brother said listening to a podcast Wilson is not yet fit to play according to Oggy? Don't know where that came from. Anybody know as my brother is getting on.

    Tats New Contract

Good. Has really shored up that right hand side and MVE has improved as a result. Sometimes I feel he really just needs to go for it rather than turning back. At his best he is awesome.

    Quality

Players develop. Some get better with each season (see Dovin, Vic and Gus who started slowly then got much better over time). Some you would think will get less influential (see Godden). One would hope Hadji, MVE will get much better. EMC, Simms, Rudoni, Eccles, Thomas and Kitch have potential...

    Final 6

Think we can make the playoffs but we have to be better away and tighter at the back. Derby and Sheff U were pathetic performances. Think we were good at Swansea but lucky at Blackburn, Oxford and Sheff Wed.

Match Thread Coventry City - Burnley FC Match Thread - Saturday 5th Apr

I was enraged that every time we broke away they fouled us. No bookings or warnings.

    Southampton

If Lampard chose Southampton over us, then he really would be viewed as untrustworthy, a flake and a chancer with no long-term commitment to a project. The only reason to move to Southampton would be the for the parachute payments (assuming we don't get promoted).

Burnley chants were right out of the 1970s. Uninspiring team equals uninspiring fans.

    Worst ever referee?

In what reality when a team breaks away and the opposition commit a professional foul is it not a yellow card? He gave one after 5 minutes of injury time and ignored all the others.

    Worst ever referee?

Of the three top clubs, Burnley are the minnows. Money is putting them on top. The world turns. Those three teams will eventually find their level. Leeds will not be shit forever and Burnley will not out perform their size. It is inevitable.

Match Thread Coventry City - Portsmouth FC Match Thread - Wednesday 9th Apr

On paper this is the easiest game of the run in, because we are at home and their away form is not great. However, they need the points and it will be route one and bombarding Collins with in swinging corners. We have a small midfield and it will be a battle.

Match Thread Who should play on Wednesday poll

Collins was good in the middle part of last season and was ok in the cup games. Last few games last season he was pants. Can't afford to have a repeat of the last six games last season.

    Overrated players

Big Ron spent a lot of money for the time and did sweet FA. Even Spitting Image took the piss out of him when he was at Man U. How much do you want for your centre forward? £1million. I'll give you £2 million.
