    Grounds for the Judicial Review

Northampton Council don't own Sixfields. After it lost money for a number of years they sold it to the a Cobblers for £1. Gave the club ownership and control of their own destiny and took a money losing burden off the councils books. A win:win for both sides...

Wider cost to business & the City of Coventry

The figures quoted in the research relate to one match which was a European tie and we haven't had one of those since I was 8 months old! It included consideration of hotels, restaurants, meals, shopping etc etc all anticipated that would have been purchased in the town on the weekend of the...

Wider cost to business & the City of Coventry

Many are asking on the potential wider costs with CCFC playing in Northampton. This research may be a starting point - a lot more than many might imagine. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-14124953

    mk dons away 2014/15

Pity others have contrived to make it unviable to stay. Ever since the decision was made to sell HR and then lease it back the club (all it's owners) have been screwed over. Maybe the JR will get to the bottom of this and the club can return without an arm behind it's back.

When the players go in January......

I don't think we'll be selling. These kids will want to see a season out to see what they can achieve, don't think SISU will be looking to sell either, don't think they'd want to create any more negative feelings.

Sorry, not East stand, it's. The West.

    Sixfields

No problem paying cash, go to the blue porta cabin outside the main stand - the queue flows quicker than the one in the ticket office. There are two windows, one for the East stand and one for the North - ignore the signs you can buy for both stands at either. East stand is the main stand...

What is your number 1 City goal (excluding Houchens)

Great to see Speedo's chips and headers but what about David Smith's wing play. A real prospect until Don Howe taught him to track back!!

City Council wanted £4 from every ticket sold? Maybe that's why £150K rent headline appeared. They wanted to make up their shortfall by screwing the fans? Is there such thing as a straight deal?

Right, let's get all this out the way

The most sensible thread seen on here for ages. Get them all to put their egos to one side, understand concessions are needed on both side, put on some coffee and nibbles and then get them to sit around a table and sort it out. Does it need an arbitrator to do this? One who is independent...

See you at the Preston game?

Was planning to go but Tom now has a friendly match this afternoon so won't be. Can't we play Friday evenings?

    Learning from history

I've been thinking about our situation and looking for comparisons from history to predict how things could end up. Rather than football, I think the miners strike in the 80's is interesting. I see many similarities with the division in fans to those seen in the strike. Even the 'scab' term...

See you at the Preston game?

I also have spent a lot of time thinking about this, reading threads on here, press articles and others bits that come out from the Club, ACL, CCC and now the FL. I consider myself quite articulate, but I honestly haven't a clue what's gone on, whose offered what and whose walked away when...

If acl act on behalf of joint owners CCc/Alan Higgs

Some years ago Northampton Council sold Sixfields to the Cobblers for £1. It removed a lost making liability from the council and helped the football club develop. Everyone a winner!

Why only 800 tickets sold at Crawley?

Like others I'm on holiday. Always miss the first couple of games every year for same reason. Why start so early. It's only half way through the Ashes series!

    Liquidation

Stubborn people with large egos that can't compromise. If they don't grow up there will be lots of losers. Will anyone actually 'win' at the end? I don't think so...

    Liquidation

Otis, Sums up my feelings exactly. I think this will run until a Judge in the High Court makes a ruling. Don't see that until next year at the earliest.
