The US, and many western nations, including our own, are party to the issue, but the region has its own issues. Sunni vs Shia, Iran vs Saudi, Israel vs Iran... I just want a just peace. I have no idea how anyone can take sides, they're all as bad as each other.

Our politics is not great... but it's as stable as there is in a free, relatively secular country.
