    More Injuries

Midfielders O’Hare, Palmer, Allen, Sheaf & Kelly all out / not match ready would have been difficult to predict. Still think we should have offered Jodi Jones a low basic contract (doubt he’s secured a high pay contract) and loaned him out first half of the season with a recall option...

Didn’t realise Preston was his old club. Good shout, Maguire must be at the point where he knows he’s got to make a mark to get a contract or he’s going to tumble down the divisions and pay scale.

Actually my previous reply a tad harsh. Just trying to think how we can get around having no attacking playmaker with Palmer out and how to put the back line together (with Doyle being possibly out - Rose not ready yet IMO) and bring Godden in. Need Hamer pulling strings and sitting behind...

? The one where we’ve been playing 1 up front? You think we’ll keep it the same and play 2 up front. Alright then. I see. Nurse?!!!

Might suit us going a flat back 4 tomorrow, McNally & Fadz as CB’s, Dabo and Bidwell FBS, push Hamer a bit more AM in an old fashioned 8 role, Eccles as old fashioned no.4, Double Barrelled loanees as wingers / wide mids that track back, Gyok and Gyods up front.

    Liam Kelly

Doesn’t the CET article quote Robins stating he’d be out for a few days - week at most? He’d have been useful on Saturday instead of JWE. If Palmer and Sheaf are out long term, we need Kelly in and around the squad.

Watch this and try not to laugh

Refereeing decisions tend to even themselves out over time. Many referees would have blown up a foul for the McNally second challenge for the first goal. Many referees would have straight red carded for that stamp (and what looked to me like a hand to face - but I’ve not watched it back)...

Not sure paying £2m for a player who way playing for a team in the same division and challenging for a play off place was a great gamble / bit of scouting. Good business would have been paying some saps £1.4m for Dom Hyam at around the same time. Not knocking McNally, just saying…..

    Sunderland...

3000 fans. £33 per ticket. £100k in the bank plus any F&B plus Sky Money. 3 points. Yep. Keep up a bit of whatever rivalry. Keep coming Sunderland.

    Allen Resurrection

He’s competing for a place on the bench with Waghorn at a Champ club. I know where the money would be better invested. Anyway. Still say JJ was worth keeping given the amount we spent on getting him better. That’s all.

Non-League you mean? Only posssibly Jodi Jones TBH (ducks for cover). Tongue in cheek aside (just watching him play for NCFC on BT Sport right now) I’ll say again: Should have kept him and loaned him out first half of this season to L2 or NL. With Palmer out we are really short on AM options...

That free kick to BNC was a bit wasted, maybe it’s a training ground move but yes, to BNC? Really? - I’ll agree with you there. I liked his attitude and his tackling and pressing from an attacking position. Was playing with confidence and looked a team player. Some great turns and runs and...

Wilson 8 Couple of decent saves in there, good distribution, great shithousery - shame we didn’t get a clean sheet. Getting better all the time. McNally 7 Decent clearing and marking, some poor passing, skied a decent chance from a corner. Defence much better with him in it. Fadz 8...

Allen scored. Happy - but to be fair it was on a plate. Fair play to him for getting into the right place. Eccles needs to be careful and if we had an option on the bench then he’d be hooked off. BNC a mixed bag. Awkward and awkward.
