    Gael Bigirimana

No idea how much truth is in this, but heard that while Bigi was at Newcastle he pissed off the then manager Alan Pardew by going on England Under 20's duty instead of staying with Newcastle. After that he was effectively bombed out and never got another look in. Equally it might be nothing...

Had a great time there a couple of years ago. If you get chance do the segway tour of the city, it's a great way to see all the landmarks and interesting buildings.

    General Election 2019 thread

The only Labour politician who has impressed me over the last couple of years is Steven Kinnock. Makes a lot of sense and could do well if given the chance. Am surprised his name does not get mentioned at all with regard to future leadership of the Labour party. Mind you, thought his old man was...

Izal toilet paper and other crap.

I remember Izal toilet paper well, and the vile smell that went with it.......fucking awful. Also remember Blue Band margerine. Had a taste all of its own and was utterly vomit inducing shit!! My Grannny spread this crap on every sandwich and slice of toast she ever made for me. Nearly threw up...

    Naga Munchetty

Just seen the full clip. Cannot she has been sanctioned for that. Utterly ridiculous that the BBC can take exception to that, what else was she supposed to say? It's probably one of those times when if she had bitten her tongue and politely said 'no comment' she would have regretted it all her...

Sky Blue youth superstars who never made it...

That whole episode still pisses me off to this day. What the fucking hell was Bobby Gould thinking taking them to an army training camp and getting them to jump over walls. Just amazed that the people who run the club allowed it to happen as well. Fucking inept does not do it justice!!!

Foreign players who never really made it...

Agree about Jean Guy Willamme. Saw his debut for the reserves playing along side Gary Breen. The pair of them looked brilliant together and think Strachan at the time said you could have "set it to music", they really did look good that night. After that remember seeing him at home against West...

    Emigrating

Got a son living in Melbourne. Fantastic lifestyle and a fantastic place to live. Always found the Australians to be great people. Sydney is a fantastic city and there is always something to do. Only advice I would give is to embrace it and appreciate what a lucky sod you are!!

Clown starts brawl on P&O cruise ship

Think it's because people realise their holiday is coming to an end and get pissed off. Saw two guys squaring up to each other over the last piece of cheese cake (its not as if there were not of other things to choose from). It only settled down when a Steward agreed to get another cheese cake...

Clown starts brawl on P&O cruise ship

Have been on three cruises and it's always noticeable how short tempered people are on the last day before you get off the next morning. Seen a few 'situations' develop over virtually nothing on the last day amongst passengers.

    A Royal Baby

A fortnight before they got married my wife mentioned Megan Markel's name in some context and looked at me as if I should know who she was talking about. At the time there were two other people listening and they were all surprised when I told them I did not have a clue who they were talking...
