    Russell Slade ?

Remember Barnsley 12 months ago ? Oh and before anyone else mentions it, us too

    Next Protest

I still think we are justified to carry on the protests, however with the rumoured appointment of Russell Slade or anyone else for that matter protests should take a different path and be away from the pitch. For me Tim Fisher and his removal from our club sooner rather than later is the main...

Why Russell Slade is the man to save CCFC

Reading his cv it is fairly impressive and admit I was ignorant of his management record. It suits where we are at l also hope he's been in the frame for a while and has already earmarked wishfor players. We need them early in January not at 5pm the 31st.

    Russell Slade ?

Seems to be 2 lines of thought on his Cardiff days one he had a high wage bill to sort out that doesn't help relationships with players the other that the Cardiff board pulled the trigger a bit early. Anyway what he couldn't achieve at one ccfc he can make amends at the proper ccfc.

Why Russell Slade is the man to save CCFC

Yes I was a bit 50/50 on TM from vibes I got from West Brom mate and what he said to me happened. His main criticism being TM was intransigent and stubborn with his team and tactics. Never slagged him though, and really disappointed how it all faded away.

    Russell Slade ?

Now on the Coventry Telegraph site so looks likely. Think his type of in your face management is what's needed here especially now. We are not down and out so I have a bit more optimism IF it happens.

    New Manager

And the ludicrous 4 year contract awarded to Steven Presley for winning a few games in his first 6 months.

    Investment on the Horizon?

I'd settle for Fisher has gone, he's the architect of all this. A new broom could make a big difference and convince Sepalla there's other ways.

    New Manager

I have had my say on Russel Slade and if it's true I'll be okay with it, if it's until end of the season so what, many new managers don't last that long ! Still makes me wonder if something's afoot though. January is going to be very interesting.

    New Manager

One thing though, whoever gets the gig might be an insight to whether something is occurring behind the scenes. There has been Talk that a contract to the end of the season was offered to JFH if that's what Fisher is offering surely no one will accept that.

    New Manager

I would like Rowett too but can't see the situation here attracting him can you ? There would have to be a total transformation in present club policy large contracts on offer and for his assistants too, just ain't gonna happen.

    New Manager

Otis, Russel Slade is an unemployed ex-manager with seemingly nobody clamouring for his services, why ? That wouldn't make him a bad appointment by the way. And your list of failed ex internationals at being a manager is probably a couple of thousand short. And by the way Bryan Robson did win...

    New Manager

Funny how people on here clamour for Russel Slade to be manager not much of a player in his time and done okay in previous jobs but nothing spectacular yet appear mortified at the prospect of Sam Ricketts getting the gig a man as a player has played in all four divisions. Won leagues, been an...
