What's your view on Simms at the moment?

The question is can FL improve the squad and our position from the mess Robins left it in, after he spent a fortune. Yes he can. I hope he gets 1/4 of the money Robins got.

Robins got them playing in the relegation zone chum. Flapping about with no clue what to do. That's how it ended.

I think FL will tighten things up somewhat. But it's a bang average squad we paid a lot for and that's largely on Robins. Are people seriously suggesting giving Robins even more money in January would have been a good idea after he bought in Collins, Kitching, JDS, EMC, BTA, Binks etc?

It's both. Runners frequently get past Sheaf, Eccles and they can't catch them up.

Lati always speaks well and talks a good game but just isn't good enough. As to the likes of Sheaf he absolutely doesn't shield our central defenders enough. Too slow and doesn't get his foot in enough.

Number 1 priority is a quality central midfield player. At the minute Sheaf, Eccles are so plodding can't drive us forward or shield the defence.

What do you want him to say to motivate the players?

MVE looks worryingly knackered.

I think we are playing more compact and as a tidy team. But we just look so bang average for all that money spent.

We generally lack pace as well as playing the ball slowly.

Just get the ball to Saka as much as possible. He can do something. EMC just not contributing. He looks scared to death. No doubt Simms and Torp on soon.
