Let's be honest most of the mess regarding the quality of our squad is down to Robins. The Barnsley trio, JDS, Binks and probably Dovin, BTA all strange buys. Doug is liable if he blanket ruled out the purchase of older, experiences players or loans. But whatever, what came in for our...

Let's face it all 3 of our keepers lack confidence, have trouble catching the ball and are poor at commanding their areas. Dovin is probably the best. But we should have recruited a far better keeper given our defence is a disorganised mess and weak as piss.

The signings of Collins, Kitching, JDS, Binks and probably Dovin were all really poor. We needed an experienced aggressive centre back (in the mould of Fadz) and a proven Championship keeper who could command.his box. Needs some serious work to sort that defensive mess out.

That's a bit of a mad take. Hamer is great at pushing against a defence and slipping a clever ball through. He has such a quick brain and range of passing. Also has good shooting and tackling. He's an absolute class above.

He's the captain. Very little in it between him and Eccles at the moment. In fact Eccles might be better.

Sheaf needs replacing.

Sheafs main plus is he can calm our play by putting his foot on the ball and passing it 10 yards sideways or backwards usually. He doesn't shield our defence very well, which is a priority, because he is so slow and not very aggressive. Tbh I'm not sure calming our play is what we want right...

But he doesn't pass well or shield well at the moment. You continually see players run past him and then him chugging forlornly to chase back.

I cant see us getting solid at the back with MVE, Collins and JDS as a back line. I'd rather have some old fashioned solid defensive fullbacks at the moment.
