What are you currently listening to?

Catching up on Siouxsie and the Banchees albums I didn't have. Didn't realise they had covered one of my favourite songs:

And yet sometimes it works differently. For example, I hadn't scored any goals in tier 7 when I was 18.

Agree with this. The team has let Max down badly this season.

It happens that some players are late developers. I myself wasn't ready for Premiership football at the age of 23.

That's a micro-aggression right there. Shame on you, PVA, you of all people should know how hurtful that can be. You should have at least issued a trigger warning before typing that vile stuff.

    Derek Chauvin Trial

Any lawyers on the site? It cannot be at any point, otherwise there would be no manslaughter at all. I suspect his case will be that it was unintended at all stages: reckless but not bad. Isn't there something called 'Accidental Homicide' in US Law? However the US system is more political...

    Derek Chauvin Trial

There have been two autopsies, both showing homicide as the cause of death. On the other hand, I can't see how they can prove it was premeditated: has to be manslaughter. Riots; broken windows; fires and looting almost certain I would expect no matter what happens.

There are some pretty fancy prices for ready made veggie meals and loads of different kind of vegan mince since it became cool. However when you look at these vegan minces there are no expensive ingredients. Make something trendy and there will always be someone willing to sell you it at a...

I just had an offer on a house accepted! It's taken 9 months but we'll be moving to Wales this summer. :) I consider the flag stuff and decided I don't care. Red dragons are fine by me. A little bit closer to the Ricoh, so maybe there more often.

There's already a commitment to end live long-distance driving to abattoirs. Time will tell... but as always I'm optimistic without being Panglossian.

Kind of related to this thread... here's a terrible joke. Dave and his friend Christian are prawns. Dave has always looked at the sharks with envy and told his friend that he wished he were a shark. One day, Cod, a magical fish, overheads him. "I can grant your wish, Dave." And with a swish...

He always is - it's his USP. I came to the conclusion long ago that he's not someone who considers issues before taking a stance, he has simply decided he's on the Left and then copies everything he thinks he's supposed to think. I bet there's not one subject that he doesn't have strong...

Absolutely correct. I've worked with hundreds of Muslims and I've never met one religious bigot. It's telling, given how much publicity there is, that there are still only 20 or so in their rent-a-mob outside the school.

    School Protests

Hey Tone, PVA In 2019 Christians protested outside a school because they were covering homosexuality in lessons. No flags were involved but unfortunately no teachers were sacked; whipped etc. and the school just carried on. What a bigoted school! They should have immediately withdrawn this...

Would you have told the suffragettes to leave the country if they don’t like the rules? YES, they had flags. Would you have told the Poll Tax protesters to leave the country if they don’t like the rules? YEP, cannot get past their flags. I don’t think you’re the Tommy Robinson type for one...

As I understand it, many of them are not even parents, they are followers of the doxer charity guy. The kids and parents started a petition in support of the teacher. It now has over 50k signatories (obviously not all are pupils).
