For me they lost that Test in the first innings. More sensible batting in last few overs before close and they'd have built a total that would have put more doubts in Pakistan batsmen.

Agree on Pep. His coaching is high intensity and infinite attention to detail. Hard to do that when you're only getting the players for short periods.

Maybe one of those whose PL stats (fantasy football stats) don't transfer to international football. He's not a great defender - even struggling at Liverpool in recent seasons. He has been doing well in midfield for Liverpool but looked out of his depth in the Euros.
