That's a problem if no-one is covering. First 5-10 minutes Oxford were looking at 3 or 4 long cross field balls to attack space Bidwell leaves - teams have id'd him as a postional weakness.

Could easily have been 5 or 6. Defence still making similar mistakes to last wek. At least midfield was passing the ball forward more.

The hottest *insert month* on record checker.

We've had about 1 day under 30C in last 10 weeks. We've had a record number of red and orange warnings. Even the breeze is warm. Been a nightmare. We've had 39mm of rain in that time - 35 of those in one big storm end of June.

    Summer transfer window 2024

People were raising doubts about Wright and Simms first couple of months last season. But I would like Robins's to work out quicker how he's going to use these players.

Desperately sad about Thorpe. Battling anxiety and depression that ended in him taking his own life. Mental health is a bitch.

Match Thread Stoke away 10th August 12:30 - Opening day!

For a side that wants to pass the ball around the back Thomas is still an issue. Even when we're 1 down and in their half the ball ends up back at our keeper rather than in their box. It's like our midfield saying "we're not good enough to create something on our own". Did like the look of...

Being outmuscled. These silly pass backs just bringing pressure. Torp and Allen not working as pair.

    Are we being “hyped”?

Not sure Wilder is good enough.Could be gone quickly with a poor start.

    Are we being “hyped”?

Genuinely don't see why we can't contend if we start better than we have the last 2 seasons.

It's a start. Hopefully they'll be following up on all these pictures of people with machetes/large knives in the street. They're after people throwing bricks so offensive weapons in public should be included as well. Have to get these weapons off the streets for the good of everyone

Probably going to spin it. "look how few turned out against us compared to the pro-Palestinian protests around Britain".

But there would also be a lot of people demanding prison for any "patriot" saying the same thing. If we fall into the trap of double standards the moral argument starts to fail.
