    New stadium

There is a thing called the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), which was revised last year and sets out the overall picture for planning in England. While there is a relaxation of some of the conditions for building on brownfield sites, compared with building in the Green Belt, for...

    Season Tickets

Shame we're all in the "side-on" Kop stand, rather than behind the goal, but i guess that is the way it has been at the Ricoh. Wonder if Tilton Road will open up if there is a huge walk-up (i know, but i can dream)

    Six fields v St Andrews.

Wasps are also £55.8 million pounds in debt, and losing money fast (eye-watering for a rugby club, as Rod Liddle put it!). CCFC are positively solvent!

Maybe he works for the Ovo Women's Tour cycle race : they think it is 158km from Warwick to Burton Dassett, when the shortest route is 11.9 miles

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

Dear Spanner I forget what was said when the EC complaint came to light, but i think the answer was that it is the government's stated intention to enshrine all EU Law into UK Statute, so that may affect things. But given that they have already kicked it into touch on the point of it not being...

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

That would be my interpretation - that the agreement was only extant during a period in which the two parties were bound by a contract (which doesn't exist, as we know!)

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

Funny that ... But going forward from THIS point, i think any new negotiations would have to include that agreement again, as the previous agreement is now worthless.

Re: your point 2, i don't think it's a case of SISU taking new legal action. I THINK it becomes a criminal action against the Council by the UK courts (upon instruction by the European Commission). BUT you're right that it may also allow SISU to go after whoever they see as having caused a loss...

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

Well it may, although the legal agreement that SISU signed stated that they would not take direct legal action against W*sps. If they adhered to that going forward, then W*sps might be happy, and SISU would be in breach of any tenancy contract if they issued a civil claim against them.

LAtest lagal action (that can't be halted)

As i understand it, the EC are currently undertaking a preliminary investigation of the facts to determine if they believe there is a case to answer. In a post last week, i quoted some expert in EU process who said that the current Commissioner for Competition was going after the global...
