A question of taste or bias?

I thought Jo Brand had grown up a bit in recent years, and would know better than to spout this kind of hatred, whether directed at a specific individual or not. Ask the amazing inspirational Katie Piper whether she saw the funny side. When the National Police Chiefs' Council and numerous other...

Oooh - never thought of that! My wife's wine is usually about a third of the bill!!

    Will Robins consider his postion?

How much does that sort of thing cost, anyone know? Maybe the sky's the limit, but is a nice thought.

Do you believe in leaving a tip/gratuity

I know all of that - but i'd rather they put prices up to be transparent, rather than sneaking them in by stealth. Pay their staff a proper wage and leave it to the customer to establish if they are WORTH a tip for good service. It's probably different culturally in the US where you are.

St Andrews travel, parking & drinking

Yeah, roughly hourly from Malvern Link to New Street, takes about 50 mins to New Street, £11.40 off-peak day return. Also some trains into Moor Street, but seem to take a lot longer than the 5 minutes "hobble" through the underpass from New Street!

Do you believe in leaving a tip/gratuity

It pisses me right off when there is a thing on the menu (in UK) that says "An optional 15% service charge will be added to your bill". If it's a service charge, *I* will decide whether the service and food has been good enough to warrant a tip of whatever value. If it sucks, i'll get them to...

OK, King's Norton station is 10 mins from J2 of the M42. 15 mins into New Street, £3.20 return. Don't know about parking! Longbridge, closer to M42, 20 mins to New St, £4.60.

Droitwich is another option - both that and Bromsgrove roughly the same distance from M5 J5. Think parking at B'grove likely to be easier as further from what passes as the town centre. Droitwich is where a lot of district councillors live, so they'll want to keep ne'er-do-wells out!

Presume you mean DRIVING to Worcester?! Reasonably frequent service to/from Birmingham (choice of Moor Street -1h - or New Street - 45m), some from Shrub Hill, some from Foregate Street. Costs £9.60 return. But you have to consider parking in Worcester City Centre, which is disgracefully...

To be fair to the guy, people did ask for the content of the interview to be posted as they couldn't listen. And no, i'm not Way's mum!

Malc, i suspect it is down to how resources are allocated. Coventry is in a different divisional command to Birmingham, but i don't know where the matchday officers are based - they may all come from one giant Operational Support Unit based somewhere central. Anyone know?

Oh more fucking scare stories from the delightful Ms Adudu. That should be a laugh! But i don't know how much they move resources around WMP force area to police "big" events.

Should say it looks like his time at Land Rover was pre-Tata (and hence pre-merger with the Jag), not that that changes anything. Just not JLR per se.

The interview was by Clive Eakin. Linnell only does the sport very occasionally now. He doesn't present a show as far as i am aware.

    Robins speaks !

This will probably be him, from his LinkedIn profile (told you it was useful for stalking people. He's actually had a long and illustrious career with Land Rover, including Director of Global Sales, and more recently defence contracts. He may be successful but he's still a twat!

Is there a list somewhere of Freemen of the City, i wonder? Edit: "A register of the names of all the Freemen of the City of Coventry is held by the Council. It is kept in the Lord Mayor's Office, and can be seen by anyone - to make an appointment please call the Lord Mayor's secretary"

If you listen, he seems to think not! And nor have any of the existing staff asked for a transfer or even a conversation.
