Wright is making great runs and has his defender all day, and Saka is frightening the hell out of them too! still a bit concerned about the midfield, but Eccles and Allen have improved

we actually look pretty good on the counter, and the defence are looking fairly calm but they are waltzing through the midfield…… Also how did Wright miss that chance?? Thank God for Godden! well played Bidders too 👍🏼

Josh Eccles isn’t good enough for this level, and Jamie Allen isn’t a first choice either….both weak links in this team - and why is Eccles STILL taking corners?! We shouldn’t be surprised if we’re playing in league one next season if we keep starting league one standard players!

Diamond if you’re playing two up top, otherwise it’s two central or attacking midfielders depending on how you play it need at least one other decent midfielder either way, and maybe one more proven up top

yeah Sheaf did ok when he dropped in at CB, and to be fair used to play there for Arsenal but he’s far more effective as a box to box midfielder in my opinion - what I maybe should’ve said is that playing Lati there leaves our more effective midfielders to do their jobs without worrying about...

I disagree that Eccles is better, and I wouldn’t say square peg given Lati plays there internationally. The main reason however is because neither Eccles nor Sheaf (who I would argue is more of an out and out midfielder rather than a pure CDM) can drop into centre half if and when needed, so...

I think Binks has been one of our best players this season, so it’s good to have a few options at CB with him and Lats too, along with Thomas and Kitching, who are looking like they’re at the very early stages of forming a good CB pairing. Take the point on Collins having played with them too...
