    Signings since Pressley joined

It seems to be similar approach to what happened at Charlton when Fisher & Waggott were there. The player turnover was high there too. Throw enough mud(being polite) at the wall and some will stick seems to be the strategy. Add to that SP doesn't seem to know what he is looking for and keeps...

Former CCFC chairman urges Ricoh protagonists to "move on"

At some point everyone needs to move on and look in a forward direction. We need to get back to the needs of CCFC and that being important to everyone but especially to whoever owns and supports CCFC. Doesn't look like we are at that point though :(

    Fisher's remarks

pretty certain it wont be for sale at the moment. The club is party to the legal actions (both Otium & SBS&L named as plaintiffs) and ownership of CCFC would be essential to any rights to compensation should the legal actions be successful. I would think it is as simple as that I would think...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

ACL were vulnerable in the first instance because of the £21m loan required to pay CCC for the under 50 year lease. Swiftly followed by them being reliant on a delinquent failing anchor tenant to finance a large chunk of its operations - ie they didn't drive the business commercially but linked...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Would rather be talking about the football certainly. If I can help people understand the financial shenanigans better then maybe I have contributed something positively to this saga The turnover previous to IEC being established 20/04/12 largely didn't exist. ACL were in a comfort zone, the...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

IEC produce their own accounts. Those accounts are included in the ACL group accounts. The IEC turnover forms part of the ACL group turnover. It looks like nearly all IEC direct costs and administrative costs are derived from ACL (as holding co) and Compass. So both ACL & Compass take a "cut" as...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

But they received the lease assignment fee that related to a 7 year period. They either show a huge profit in 2008 and lower profits or losses since or they allocate quite legitimately to the 7 year period to reflect more accurately what the deal with G Casino was. The profits treatment is...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

To answer a couple of the other points Godiva :) Wasps own ACL outright so the reality is any profits that ACL make go to Wasps because of the group situation Compass own 23% of IEC and are entitled to 23% of any dividends IEC pay out. They have a supply contract to provide IEC with staff etc...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

This lease income write off thing. Here is what I think has happened back in 2008 when Isle of Capri pulled out there were two payments received by ACL. one to compensate for IofC leaving the second was a payment allocate the lease to G casino on an up front payment. The first payment went...

Club’s owners “not prepared to take on the risk” of sharing the Ricoh

Have to say I didn't recognise the term either Godiva Although a number of the articles recommend that such investments should form part of a good diverse portfolio. What is ACL's credit rating now? It may well have been poor in the past (almost certainly) but is it now? Is that rating based...

Rugby Council still denies 'new stadium' contact...

It will be interesting to see how long it takes a certain rugby team to get their training ground etc up and running and where it is. Shopping in similar markets. Will be interesting to compare their timelines will leave others to argue about whether CCC have do or will help either or not

Rugby Council still denies 'new stadium' contact...

Yes I know CCFC there seems to be a "contradiction" there doesn't there other stuff The economic study. So stadium build 14m? ....... I assume including land purchase ......that's quite cheap isn't it, doesn't sound like it will have much space available for the events related income streams...

Rugby Council still denies 'new stadium' contact...

apparently the loan 14.4m is payable at 5% pa interest (source filed accounts) We are told that the loan period has been shortened to 20 years. That equates to loan repayments of 1,140,396 per annum. They are currently paying 815,400 pa Buying the shares in a company does not mean that you...
