Video Ellis Simms sits down for first interview after agreeing Sky Blues deal!

Can someone give the interviewer some half decent questions? We surely can do better than: ‘Looking forward to meeting the lads?’ ‘Are you happy to be joining the Sky Blues?’

    Hamer

'The King of Shaves' vs. the 'Ginger Iceman' for the real control of CCFC. Clive commentates and confuses both fighters from the opening bell.

    Hamer

    I was being deadly serious.

    Hamer

    Not yourself obviously.

    Cedric Roussel RIP

No words. Not sure if we can connect with his family to express how much he meant to our club. Cedric was unplayable that season against top quality defences - and he’s an immortal in my eyes. I would like to see an official tribute from CCFC ahead of the first home game with Cedric’s family there.

    Gyokeres

These are fair points KCM. On the other hand, few strikers can have been involved in as many assists this season in addition to the goals scored. Setting up chances for others is an area of his game that improved massively this season. And point taken on the 1 on 1s but fair to equally say...

Match Thread Confirmed Ins and Outs 2023/2024 Summer

If we keep Hamer and Palmer is fully fit, I'd go for a box of: Hamer Sheaf O'Hare Palmer Some might say that's reckless - but technically that combination is very good and would increase our possession. I'm a huge fan of Palmer and hope to see the best of him next season. If we want...

Best and worst Sky Blue moments

I agree with Lee - Best for me after 40+ years was Hamer's goal for all kinds of reasons. Worst - Sheffield United away on pens. I was over Saturday's shoot out pretty quickly - left Wembley very late with some of my closest family and friends with immense pride in our Club. Although if...

    Atmosphere at Today’s Game

I was there FF in 81 as a 10 year old and have talked about it for years. Loudest ever HR that night and it was a very big deal. I guess Saturday and Hamer’s goal was even more special for quite a few reasons. I was lucky to be there with my closest family and friends. It was a play off final...

    Atmosphere at Today’s Game

I loved it and couldn’t be more proud of the team and our fans. Loved the pre match videos and even the DJ - easily pleased! One thing I can certainly tell you - in 40+ years of watching this Club - I’ve never gone more mental or felt more emotion in the crowd than after Hamer’s goal. Lifetime...

    This is our Club

As Jimmy features on the video - someone I know has spoken with Mrs. Hill today - Jimmy's widow. The message back is that our revival would make 'Jimmy very very proud and he would absolutely love this.' PUSB.

    This is our Club

This video was made at our lowest point - relegation to L2. What significant moments after that would you add to bring it up to date? -the L2 play off goals - Notts County away and celebrations/Wembley final -key goals from our L1 title winning season -the late late winners last season -Vik's...

Best of all - one of the greatest and most memorable chapters is currently being written.

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

I would simply argue croat that this is far bigger given the huge gulf between the divisions. The Premier league is on a completely different global scale compared to the 80s/90s.

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

In my opinion - this game is far bigger than 87 given the implications for the future of this club (and that's not diminishing anything about the memories of 87 either).

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

That actually wasn't in my lifetime shmmeee! Certainly understand to your point how massive and iconic that Wolves game was. But I would 100% argue the financial gap/profile between the top flight and the league below has historically never been wider - and this is why this game is the most...

Coventry City v Luton Town - Championship playoff final - 27th May 2023 - Wembley Stadium

I agree Robinshio. In terms of the importance of single games played - I see this as the biggest game in my lifetime. Including Spurs away in 97 - the benefits now of returning to the Premier League are just so massive.

Renaming of the Coventry Arena train line

'The Train for Robins' Line.' Just to pre-empt the hysterical reaction of a few posters on here as we are losing at half time tomorrow.

    Kasey Palmer

Just thinking about penalties sends a shiver down my spine - Sheff United, FA Cup 1998. A game we should have won by miles at home.
