I know that a lot of these comments will be "tongue in cheek", but I hope that we aren't falling into the trap of generalising gay men as being more promiscuous and predatory, just because of a few high-profile cases.

We were normally too stuffed from the generous portions in the restaurants to trouble the kebabists!

    Holiday 2020 thread

"And here is some more salt ..." does get repetitive after two hours when all you're interested in is having a piss!! I think we were reasonably lucky with our tour group in Auschwitz, although there was a Scandinavian family (i guess they don't do tours in Swedish?) who would not control their...

    Holiday 2020 thread

Tommo we went to Krakow in July. Auschwitz is unmissable but take a tissue! And don’t think about not doing Birkenau while there. If you have a spare few hours in Krakow, take a tram out to the site of Plaszow labour camp, which was the one featured in Schindlers List. Most of it has gone but...

We're hoping either the driver, the guide or the cook have a rifle!! Never mind the spiders in your boots; Hyenas often frequent the sites, apparently!

But we're flying to Toronto, do three nights there, then the train to New York as it's a good way to see upstate, stopping off at Niagara, etc.

Through the Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. But not your "Treetops" style glamping - this is basic unfenced sites, helping with the cooking, etc. We get a flushing loo on day 6, i think! Fucking excited already!

We're doing Toronto to NYC by train in November. Any ideas on how to spend 5 days in NY gratefully received. But for summer we're keeping it local - camping in Tanzania :happy::happy:

Kane's have a salad-bagging plant at Middle Littleton now - they own a vast amount of property in Evesham to let to their workers (majority Eastern European), and run free buses to the plant. Big, big cooperative.

    Things that annoy you

Me and my missus were planning a holiday this September to Vegas with my mate and his wife to celebrate his 50th. His cousin has now announced she's getting married in fucking Mexico in October, so our plans are scuppered! Selfish bitch!

    The Schofield story

In his conversation with Holly Willoughby on the box, he claimed that his hand hadn't been forced, and the timing of the announcement was entirely of his own volition. #facevalue ???

    IKEA Closing in Coventry

Might be worth contacting the BID people about this idea, Daz. Best i've heard by a long way.

    IKEA Closing in Coventry

Gloucester Quays Outlet made good use of disused buildings too, and has brought life back to a historic but run-down area of the city - not lurid yellow and blue though! Same can be said for Clark's Village in Zummerzet
