    "Glad All Over "

Those of us who recall the 60's under Jimmy Hill at Highfield Road will have memories of "Glad All Over" ringing out around the terraces (when rattles were allowed). It was a terrific motivator to lift the crowds spirits -- far better than Mr Blue Skies. Would be fantastic to have this played...

    Our Season Starts Now

I don't give a flying fig about Mark Robbin's past managerial record -- it's what he does for us that matters. Clean start, lets be positive, assume Saturday is the first game of the Season and get behind everyone 100%. No negatives, as there aren't any. No reason why we can't make the play-offs.

    Our Season Starts Now

New Broom.. give the guy a chance. Write off the the diasterous first 7 games, they've gone, can't change the past. Be positive and assume our season starts now. Little point in thinking otherwise.

Certainly NOT the lowest position in living memory!

I am 70 years of age and started watching CCFC the year after they were relegated to Div 3 (South). Then CCFC were founder nembers of Div 4 when the bottom halves of Div 3(North) and Div 3 (South) formed Div 4 for the following season. Fotunately CCFC (along with Port Vale) were promoted back to...

    New Sky Blue Song..

" Let's all sink together, Give up Sky Blues Whilst we sink together We will always lose. Morecombe or Fleetwood Cheltenham or anyone We'll give in till till their game is won"

Thorn 3 games undeafeated... Shaw 3 games all lost

The timing od Thorn's sacking was shit. A new manager in place at the end of last season would have been more sensible.

Systems, systems and more systems.. the old way was the best

... and from Sky Blues aspect... UNSUCESSFUL 21st Century. Would you not agree that one of the main crticisms over the past season or two has been the lack of width down the wings ? Play with two wingers to stretch the opposing defence works.

Systems, systems and more systems.. the old way was the best

The "half backs" are the equivilent of today's midfield

Systems, systems and more systems.. the old way was the best

For those who can remember the 1960's/70's there was just one system. Goalkeeper, Left back, Right back, Right half, Centre half, Left half, Outside right, Inside right, Centre forward, Inside left, Outside left, ie two full backs, three half backs, FIVE forwards. It worked, The two wingers...

    CCFC's Lowest ebb ?

We oldies have experienced worse .. relegation to Division 4 (from Div 3 (South) and defeats by non-league teams along the way. Kings Lyn for example. That was 50 odd years ago now, but my support has not wavered once. CCFC is my team, no matter what... just grin and bear it ! Forest Green...

Division One -- still wide open

Far too early to judge who will/won't be the leaders after 10 games.. eg if CCFC beat Stevenage, leaves them just 2 points off the play off positions. Notts County/Tranmere won't, in my opinion, last the course. I still maintain that with the right management CCFC will gain automatic promotion.

    Sky Blues/Forest Green Rovers

Some are missing the point.. Forest Green Rovers is a small village team based in Nailsworth, not much larger than Wellesbourne. Unlike Crawley, which is a sizeable town.

    Sky Blues/Forest Green Rovers

Forest Green Rovers -- based in a small Cotswold Village near Stroud (not too far from where I live). How can a small village team be top of the Conference, above the likes of Wrexham and Luton yet CCFC are struggling just two divisions higher ? Must have an amazing Manager to achieve this.

    Really trying to be positive..

Trying hard to be positive, but it's really bloody hard at the moment to see any light at the end of the tunnel with all that is going on. On the positive side, even though we have had a crap start to the season, we are not too far off the top in terms of points to catch up.. but the gap grows...

    Harry Redknapp

No way !!!! Spends most of the time at home on Sandbanks -- I understand the Spurs players held a party when he got the sack.

    Why the panic

Bournemouth (favourites) have a money-bags owner and spent heavily, as did Preston.... thay have hardly got off to flyers, have they ? Early days, but we are undefeated so far !

    Calm down!

Remember Norwich bounced straight back up ? LOST 7 -1 to Colchester on thr opening day of that season and here they are moaning about an away draw !
