Early kick offs - the future?

Just heard back from one of the L2 clubs we work with. They've said they're not likely going to go for the earlier KO. Their Technical Director said the saving on lighting would only amount to a minimal amount and they'd likely lose more money from less F+B sales with an earlier KO so they're...

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

And on top of that...rugby in general makes my blood boil with things like how they react to play acting, Suarezs bite, Zidanes headbutt and how rugby is much more civilised than football. Spear tackles, eye gouging, testical twisting, punching, close lines. Fuck off with your moral highground...

Early kick offs - the future?

I've heard a few teams are looking at this over the winter months. Not sure if yesterdays news about the govt 'helping' small businesses will be of benefit to the clubs.

    Championship 22-23

I met Tony Mowbray on Tuesday. I have to say, he's a really down to earth, nice bloke.

Will the next two games (Luton and Birmingham away) go ahead?

Ah ok. Well it was the Vice-Chairman of Sutton who I was speaking to and he's the one dealing with the police for their games and he heard the 650 figure for the Chelsea/Liverpool game from the Met Police. I thought the 200-300 was a bit high but he's got more experience of dealing with it for...

Will the next two games (Luton and Birmingham away) go ahead?

At the moment, yes. Perhaps less police required at that game? I don't know, I'm not the Met Police G. Just passing on what I've been told.

Will the next two games (Luton and Birmingham away) go ahead?

Just spoke to Sutton who are at home on Saturday to Hartlepool and I asked if their fixture was at danger of being called off as they're Met Police and they normally only have 18 police for a game so they're fine. He said that Chelsea/Liverpool on Sunday was due to have 650 police and being on...

Will the next two games (Luton and Birmingham away) go ahead?

Not from me I'm afraid as I've not spoken to anyone at the club other than via email about Luton tomorrow. A post below though seems positive that it'll be on.

    Fixtures wise we're fucked

I think next weekends games will be fine. Just this weekends that are postponed. I've got Sunderland down for Reading next Weds night and then Watford on Saturday and having spoken to them just now, they're carrying on like they're on and see no reason why they'll be called off. Still not...

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs West Bromwich Albion Match Thread - Saturday 10th Sep

National mourning is from now until the evening off the funeral - I guess 23:59 on probably Monday 19th Sept. The royal houses and their staff have a further 7 days of mourning after that.

Match Thread ⚽️ Coventry City vs West Bromwich Albion Match Thread - Saturday 10th Sep

Think it's a governing body decision - ie, the EPL and EFL as it looks like they were given the option of staging fixtures: The PA news agency understands that sports were advised by the Government in a meeting on Friday morning that events can take place this weekend provided they are staged...

    Has London Bridge fallen ?

Apparently the EFL sent some guidance to clubs at 9.30am. EPL meeting with DCMS started 10 mins ago. Announcements expected lunchtime, potentially as early as midday.

    Has London Bridge fallen ?

Must be something about Sundays - I guess it being a 'holy' day. I think if the 10th day fell on a Sunday (depends if you count yesterday or today as Day 1), then the funeral would revert to Monday.
