    Jack burroughs

He’s a rare two footed player I believe. Shame it doesn’t look like he’ll make it cos he has all the attributes.

    Things that annoy you

Jimmy Carr was awful for it when I went. Clearly someone hoping to get roasted and tell their mates and it was just sad. You can’t hear 90% of what they’re shouting anyway.

Trump is my favourite comedian of the year already

Google uses the official info wherever it is and both where there’s a dispute usually. In this case Mexican data probably says Mexico and American American. I don’t think the UK has taken a position so you get both. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2020/02/14/google-maps-political-borders/

Being mean in private isn’t a crime. What crime do you want prosecuting exactly?

    Three blocks of five left

First and last will define our season IMO. First 5: QPR (H) Sheff Wed (A) Preston (H) Oxford (A) Stoke (H) Second: Derby (A) Sunderland (H) Sheff Utd (A) Burnley (H) Portsmouth (H) Last: Hull (A) WBA (H) Plymouth (A) Luton (A) M’boro (H) Need 11-12 in the first and last blocks and hope...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I think the boats are symbolic tbh and why Sunaks focus on boats while opening the flood gates to legal immigration backfired. Rightly or wrongly a big chunk of the UK population just wants less immigration right now.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I think most people just think there’s been too much immigration especially illegal immigration. I’m not seeing any violent protests about the state of public services or people shouting out that cuts to local government are why city are losing even if we wished that to be the case.

Match Thread Coventry City - Queens Park Rangers Match Thread - Tuesday 11th Feb

Think of if I wanted 4ATB without Bidwell I’d play Binks there. Something like Dovin MvE Thomas Kitching Binks Torp Grimes Allen Saka Simms Rudoni

Think it’s best to stick with the five at the back until Wright or EMC is fit to start and Bidwell is back. Dovin MvE Lats Thomas Kitching Dasilva Torp Grimes Rudoni Simms BTA

    Summer Transfer Window

If you can find a buyer for Collins I’m open to that. Just think Lampard prefers him going off who he selects for the bench.

    Summer Transfer Window

I think it’s doable though if you look at other teams. Some will be cheaper, maybe the odd free, some will be more expensive. But if you can get Grimes for 3.5-4m you can get a quality CM for £5m and a quality CB for £4m and they’re the main signings. I’d want lots of choice up front so we can...

    Summer Transfer Window

Got to sign another keeper unless you give Wilson another contract. I don’t expect Dovin to be out much and I’d hope the academy product proves better.

    Jack burroughs

Lats has played more minutes than most and will almost certainly play against QPR, so extra strange to stick him in a more physically demanding position IMO. All I can think is he wanted someone more defensively capable to balance Dasilva on the other side with Saka offering attacking threat on...

    Summer Transfer Window

I think so. Might get a bit less for MvE or Sheaf and a bit more for the others, we did get £1m for Kasey Palmer with a year left. But overall £25m ish seems reasonable for the result of a new manager clear out.

    Summer Transfer Window

Id hope we can keep Wright another year mostly cos of his injury and the fact he’s on a longer contract.

    Summer Transfer Window

In all seriousness do think the outs are realistic values. And I think Lampard will want to to fill out the squad. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Summer 23 levels of turnover

    Summer Transfer Window

Course it is. Just take over the opposition teams temporarily and bump the fees up/accept bids before quitting. Done it loads ;)

    Summer Transfer Window

I think I’d go for 11 in: RB - loan RB - £2m - Young challenger for loanee we can develop CB - £4m - Leader and organiser (who can also defend CB - £2m someone with pace LB - £2m - Young attacking alternative to Bidwell DM - £1m - Grimes understudy CM - £5m - Marquee quality signing dynamic box...

    Summer Transfer Window

As one window closes, speculation about the next one opening begins. Like shopping while hungry, I find thinking about squad rebuilds on the back of two defeats to superior opposition a great idea, and thought I’d start the discussion from a sound fact based foundation. On that note, here’s a...
