Disappointing if fitness. Last season, you could argue that cancelling the first 3 home games, probably meant we took a while to get up to speed on match sharpness. But we can't use that excuse this season.

I don't think MR will change formation...he's obviously trying to get this set of players playing in a certain way so I don't think he'll undo the efforts by changing it right now. But I'd give it a go. Ayari/Palmer...not sure who I'd start next week. If really pushed I'd maybe stick them both...

The impact of losing your two best players and a combined 50 goals/assists, obviously tempers the money spent, regardless of how it's spent.
