    The holiday 2023 thread

Vilnius is the coldest place I’ve ever been. First visit resembled the scene in the airport in Cool Runnings where they put all their clothes on pretty much as soon as the plane door opened. Nice place. Riga was worth a visit too and so was Kaliningrad although I wouldn’t recommend that now...

Cancuun/PDC/RM area? If so do Coba. Best of the ruins to visit. When we went we could climb it but I’m not sure if that’s still the case now.

    Carsley the interim?

I hope Carsley gets it permanently. Potter hasn’t done anything more than him to deserve the job. Also if you were Potter and earning a huge sum of money for sitting on a beach for the next 3 years why would you take a 50% pay cut to go to work?

Season Ticket Holder Survey - Travel

Just filled it out. Doesn’t affect me as I walk 20 mins down the canal. Would be great to see it put on though. Something has just popped up in a group I’m in. Has anyone seen anything on away travel? Again not something I’m likely to use but I can’t recall seeing anything on it anywhere.

    Pre season to Germany

3 of us are staying in Frankfurt. My youngest’s first away game. Flying out of Heathrow tomorrow. Hopefully that goes a bit more smoothly than things have gone there the last couple of days.

How many of us going to Germany?

Depends on how you look at it. We’ve paid: Groups: 30€ R16: 50€ QF: 60€ SF: 75€ F: 95€ Due to our cap levels we knew that’s the price we’d be paying. If we weren’t so high we’d be spending a lot more.

How many of us going to Germany?

If you join now anything you earn from this point on will be valid for 2028. It goes Euros to Euros and WC to WC. Even if you’re not going to go to any away games it’s worth signing up as the 75 quid is soon paying for itself in cheaper home end tickets. If you want to sit next to someone else...

The Dutch have been great. Been quite a few of them and us in Dusseldorf over the last few days.

How many of us going to Germany?

Hi @coop. This has been pretty cheap. Especially considering I’ve come home for a couple of days twice. Tickets are very reasonable (cheaper than Championship games in some cases) and accommodation has been good. A mix of 4 star hotels and apartments at 20-35 quid a night.

Correct. Taking off from Dusseldorf soon. Heading back out on Thursday though.

How many of us going to Germany?

Struggling to think of a set of fans that I’ve seen dominate a crowd as much as them. In Dortmund last week I reckon they must’ve had 50-60,000 there. Italy had 4000 tops.

Heartbroken he has done this. Saddens me that he has got himself into such a mess and caused so many problems for so many people. He’s family to me and l wish he could’ve come to one of us and maybe this wouldn’t have happened. With regards to the tournament it’s been a shit show for transport...
