    Robins for England!

Our biggest rival and as I said he’s not that good a manager.

    Robins for England!

Couldn’t ever contemplate an Argentinian managing us and I’d say the public over there would be less pleased than us about the prospect. He’d probably have to put any family over there under 24 hour armed guard. Either way I’m pleased there’s now an entire ocean between him and the England job...

    Robins for England!

Surely everyone would love to see this. Even just for one break to see how it would pan out over that week.

Safari by any chance? It wouldn’t load on there on my iPhone, iPad or Mac. Worked straight away when I switched to Chrome.

It’s got to be higher so everyone in the top bracket has the opportunity to buy.

    Death List 2024

John Amos. Countless shows and films. Was great in Die Hard. Had a good range.

    New signings

Mason-Clark’s got talent and is a decent player. Jury is out for me on if we’ve overpaid. He’s 25 and he could in theory be entering his peak or be a few years away from it. I look at it as was the right player to bring in. I can’t help thinking that what we committed to spend on him in January...

    Throw ins

So many foul throws at every level of the game. It’s basics. I have to say It’s a fairly antiquated section of the laws. It would make things easier if they allowed the player to throw it however they like. It’s like telling them they must take a corner with the inside of their foot. It would...

    Clarkson, Hammond and May

Met Clarkson a few times when his daughter was at Rugby School. She popped into our shop in the town centre from time to time. Found him nice enough. Was in London during the early hours for work a few years ago and a chap that was absolutely smashed staggered into the road, pulled himself up on...

Chelsea make approach for 17yo Jack James

As I said that’s in terms of raw numbers and percentage. A lot of National League players are earning more than what a fair few are earning in the EFL. If you’re playing in that the chances are you’re earning a decent wage.

Chelsea make approach for 17yo Jack James

Mentioned this on another thread. Chelsea have the best hit rate for players going through their system in Europe. They have more ex academy players aged 25+ playing in the top 5 leagues here and in the top 2 leagues in the 10 best countries across the continent. That’s in terms of total numbers...

Coventry City lose top youngster as Manchester City swoop in

You’re right about Man City. They’ve had a lot of success with academy players. However Chelsea have more former academy players aged 25+ playing in the top 5 leagues in England and the top 2 leagues in the rest of Europe than any other club. That’s in terms of percentage of players that have...

Depends on how much money you earn in that time.

Coventry City lose top youngster as Manchester City swoop in

Moving from a Cat 2 to one of the best academies in the world. It’s a no brainer.

    Brum

I think Rotherham will win that league. Signed some very good players that are experienced at that level. Wrexham will be fine when it comes to FFP. They’re getting 15m on the balance sheet from Disney each season. Can’t see it being long until Blues and maybe Huddersfield get a similar deal.
