Yeah... By the LOTG he's not deemed to be interfering but you're right, it certainly seems against the 'spirit' of the game. Described pretty well here: Annoyingly, the lino at the other end obviously interprets it differently. Just before their equaliser he couldn't wait to flag Haji...

Yeah. They aren't a great side but depending on what we have available a draw might be a decent result. If MvE is out I'd rather Eccles at RB than Lati tbh. I don't have as much of a downer on Lati as some, but he's a real weak link at RB or RWB.

Slow start, they did a good job nullifying us & looked threatening. Getting the first goal was massive & in control from then on really. Absolutely apoplectic at that non penalty decision, one of the most blatant you will ever see.

He also said: "I'm not taking any credit for it, my results weren't good enough, but at the end of it, the data was there to suggest it was in a really good place to go on, to go & turnaround" Which is spot on. We were trending in the top 6 for pretty much all the underlying performance stats.

    Frank Lampard efl unfiltered

Yeah, thrilled with how it's going obviously. I thought Robins should have had more time based on previous performance & the underlying data suggesting we would come good again & it seemed an unnecessary gamble. I've always admired Lampard as a player & as a person but had reservations over his...

    The dreaded curse

Best possible scenario this really. Lampard will rightly get lots of praise but ultimately Farke has to win it so we avoid the curse. Win win.

Some pen too. I saw somebody make the comparison of Simms' miss to the one Gyok missed for us v Barnsley & it's a fair comment. People forget he was never the cleanest striker of the ball, safe to say he's improved that somewhat!

    Great read. Cheers @tomreagan84

    Post-penalty

Didn't Bidwell do exactly that before handing it to Simms?

    Rudoni injury

I think Rudoni has come on leaps & bounds under Lampard & will be a huge loss, however long he's out for. Interestingly, whilst someone like Torp could certainly replace parts of his game, the one thing that's really stood out stats wise recently are Rudoni's headed goals. All 4 of his goals...

Im posting Something positive about frank lampard

Certainly seems that way from the outside looking in & I'm delighted to see it, as it's something Lampard has been strongly criticised for in his previous roles. Leaving a potentially difficult character like Bassette out of the squad could be testing so it's important he's managed properly.

Grimes has scored 11 out of 12 penalties so far in his career, he was the obvious choice imo. In all honesty, of the 10 outfield players on the pitch, he would probably have been my 7th choice & I say that as a big Simms fan.

This is quite frankly ridiculous. Considering we've been without Sheaf & Wright for most of this run & haven't even played consistently well during it. Tidy up a bit defensively & find a way to get out best players in there & just how good could we be?

Could genuinely be anything this. We look like scoring every time we go forward but the defensive line has been appalling again.
