Bali Mumba is a RB traditionally, they sometimes prefer him at LB but had 2 LBs on the bench last time out.

    Ref again

A lot of misunderstanding around this. Since the introduction of headsets they are in constant communication with the referee. They don't immediately flag something as they speak to the referee first, much better that than one give one decision & one another - we've all seen how embarrassing...

    Joe Edwards Red Card

That in itself should be solid grounds for an appeal I'd say.

    Grimes Sheaf Rudoni

Yeah. He was the same for a period under Robins last season too tbf. Took a while to find his feet but then he was phenomenal in the cup run. There's a player in there despite some pretty obvious technical flaws & we're a better side with him in it imo. I can understand why fans (and coaches)...

    Not normally one to bleat…

Ridiculous reporting. Tbf, the local WBA reporters called it right in that we utterly dominated & it was a clear red card.

    Grimes Sheaf Rudoni

A good example of how to successfully press as a team - first Simms, then Wright penned them into an area they didn't want to be &, as you say, Grimes right there to capitalise brilliantly.

    Ref again

I'd like to see the Simms one again, anyone got a clip? I was certain at the time it should have been a penalty. I don't see how grabbing around the neck is ever a justifiable challenge. Wright was being held for sure but it's all about action & consequence - was that sufficient reason for him...

    Championship thread 24/25!

Maybe, maybe not. I think he would have needed the experienced assistant, but by that time confidence with King was obviously lost so it was inevitable to part ways at that time.

No question it's worked out well but I was always convinced he'd turn it around anyway.

I don't think they quite understand the nuances to @Otis posts 🤣

Excellent performance, controlled it from the very first whistle. Nothing daft in these remaining games now. 🩵

Well well well... Utterly bonkers this is 🤣

Was just going to say, quite admire the way they've gone about this. Going to the Bernabeu with that kind of lead, most teams would sit back but that just invites pressure.

    Ref again

It's tactical. The idea is being high & narrow meaning we compress the space they have to play in. Given that they showed absolutely zero evidence of the ability to play through us all night & their only threat was the long ball into the right channel, it's a bit naïve in my opinion that we...

    Ref again

Impossible to tell from that angle, was mighty close though. The foul on Sheaf should be a penalty in my eyes. The argument will be because he's managed to get the shot away then the challenge had no real impact. In truth, you almost never see them get awarded in real time but occasionally...

Frustrating. Played well on the whole, got to be making more of those chances. Both hit & miss tonight but pleased to see the threat we offered with Wright & Simms together. We're still in control of our destiny.
