    Council funding for Ricoh Refurb

Something else uncomfortable for you to read, so it must be a conspiracy? I think you need to seek help.

    Council funding for Ricoh Refurb

It is all very well continually churning out complaint process information, but I think we both know the LGO process is fairly ineffective. The LGO almost invariably works on the presumption that the local authority is telling the truth. This means if the complainant has a different version of...

    Transfer Rumour Phillip Hoffman

He seems not to find his feet quite often as quite a few times he has found himself getting downgraded to the second string team at whatever club he's been at. Last season was a good one for him, he is usually a one goal in four or five game player. I have seen him literally stand static at...

    Council funding for Ricoh Refurb

Sorry, I was thinking back to when Coventry used to return 4 MPs, not 3. Fletcher used to be CCC and she voted on the sale of the Ricoh. Owatemi and Sultana were 'parachuted in' and so may have less of a stake in what has gone on in the past than Fletcher. I suppose we should also remember...

    Transfer Rumour Phillip Hoffman

Yes he did. Played in a poor FC Kaiserlautern side, went to Brentford and then back to another 2 Bundesliga side. He has played for a stack of teams in Germany.

    Ricoh

There was something very special about Highfield Road that was lost when we moved to the Ricoh. Anyone who went to HR will have their favourite memories of the stadium. For me it was evening matches and the floodlights and the smell of the turf as I made my way into the stadium. I have never...

    Transfer Rumour Phillip Hoffman

I've seen him play. He can be a bit static - a ball watcher. That said, he can put a shift in when he wants to and he can play the ball on the floor.

    Council funding for Ricoh Refurb

Two of the local MPs used to be in CCC (Jim Cunningham used to be leader). It would be better to try the two new MPs who may have a more open mind.

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

It has been said the new stadium will be on agricultural land and that it will be served by the A46 link road (the course of which has yet to be finally decided). As has already also been pointed out, a fairly flat site is needed. I think you may be looking in the wrong spot. Try taking a look...

    Zain westbrooke

I hope our return to the Championship marks a change. I hope Shipley's apparent willingness to stay is matched by an ambition by the club not to sell him on. I hope he develops and becomes a mainstay of our Premiership team. As for Zain, at the end of his career I suspect he will be...

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

Yes, you've got the right Woodingdean. I am within 100m of Castle House, near to the house Errol Flynn had built for his parents. It's a small world!

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

But who are 'they' - is it the football club or the council. The statement is ambiguous.

    New Stadium Announcement!!!!!!

Read it again. That statement could be interpreted as meaning CCFC would be at the Ricoh for as long as the Council wished. More weasel words...

    Sheffield Wednesday points deduction

I think a transfer ban for two or three seasons would be highly effective. Make it so purchases and sales are banned and players are still free to walk away at the end of their contract. I think most owners would be terrified of this. But does it punish the fans too much?

    Sheffield Wednesday points deduction

I agree that there need to be repercussions for breaking the rules, I just wonder if there might be better options than point deductions. I think point deductions damage the overall spectacle of the season. Point deductions also hurt the supporters... and I think it is those who overspent...

    New Kit

Hopefully it was for sale at Chris Catlin's shop.

    Sheffield Wednesday points deduction

I agree. I'd rather we stay up on merit... and if we can't that's our own fault. It's hardly the Corinthian spirit to rely on the misfortune of others.

    So now we know

I think the key word there is 'might'.

    So now we know

Why do you refer to 'we' rather than 'the council', or 'it' or 'they'?
