Again, does that make him prolific or does it just make him someone who can work hard and hold up a ball? Maybe I'm missing what strikers are put on the pitch to do, if it is to work hard then I hold my hands up, he was amazing!

    Match thread for carlisle

Hmmm!?! All a bit harsh, did I say he is worse than anything we have, just gets my goat how everyone rates him as this fantastically prolific player, he spent enough time here doing precisely sod all and had a good aug-dec an all of a sudden he's the best thing since sliced bread. Forgot...

That he did, I take it all back, he's prolific!!! How many did he score wen he left us last season again? Who rattled your cage anyway?

    Match thread for carlisle

Ha ha, It's laughable how people rate him so highly, granted he can hold up a ball, but remind me the last time that constituted a great striker? He couldn't score in a brothel with a pocket full of fifties!!*

Just had a 2-3 minute section on the appointment of Robbins. Seems fairly optimistic, did say there is a negative mentality about the place that needs kicking out and states that he wants to bring in attractive passing football but sometimes it might be ugly, that's not to say they want to...

    robins barnsley formation at cov

Barton in my view is one of the poorest additions to the new squad. He lacks the fight and ability we need to get out of this league.

    Sack Robins now!

Been talking to Fergie and wanted twenty years!

    Sack Robins now!

Very fishy indeed. There's something very odd going on that's for sure, even just by him and the motly crew being present last night is an odd one.

    Sack Robins now!

Maybe SISU have been held to ransom for once, especially of they wanted but didn't get misery bollocks Ince! Wich I'm very pleased with incidentally.

    Welcome Mark Robbins

You simply cant compare the two, we are skint! Granted he may have not been working in management but was working developing youth for the premier league as some club development manager. That alone speaks volumes.

    Welcome Mark Robbins

Probably because nobody expected it to get any worse. We're now at the foot of the third tier. What would you prefer?

    Well said that man!!

    Welcome Mark Robbins

I'm actually feeling unusually optimistic about Robbins. Think he's really the right sort of manager to turn us around and give these spineless bunch of muppets the kick up the asre they really need. Think he needs it to go well just as much as we do as well and for once I think we are all in...

    Welcome Mark Robbins

Pretty sure fulham and west brom fans will disagree with that.

    Welcome Mark Robbins

Very promising that he has been working with the premier league as club support manager, working alongside Paul lambert and tony pulis on youth development side for the prem. This has to be one of the most important points of is signing!!
