I'll try be the civil one here. The manner in which he left us left a sour note that we've not experienced for years (as we've not had a manager leave us for another team.) I'd be lying if I said I didn't want it to backfire against him, but it's nothing personal against your fans.

Difference between Carsley and Thorn is coaching experience. Carsley has been working with our team on the playing side and has already got 2 clean sheets. Might horrendously backfire but, atm, no available managers (realistic ones anyway) fill me with any confidence.

A lot of criticism for Clarke is the lack of work rate more than anything. I'm happy with his goal contributions but when he takes defender's with him with movement it leaves space for Baker and Sheffers to get in chances themselves. I think that was what McGoldrick did so well.

It was a great goal and made the most of the space he was granted. A lot of our goals were sloppy one's (not complaining mind) but that one stood out to me.
