    If we lose tonight

Yeah. The team he built for free at Walsall is awful. And had to keep rebuilding after selling/losing Deeney, Grigg, Paterson, etc etc. You stick to good old Mogga. He's doing a great job.

    long way to go

The TV money for Championship clubs next season is said to be increasing to around £8m....nowhere near £15m.

    long way to go

Budget is a poor excuse. Most of the teams above on the table, would be happy to have Coventry's budget. Mowbray's tinkering and bringing in past-it players with little ambition or drive, upset the applecart.

Plan b and dealing with opposition changes

Promotion sides are never built with teams that can't defend and grind out results. Mowbray's sides can never defend. They play attacking football that is received well by fans initially, until they realise that his sides flatter to deceive, and peter out when they get found out. Good old Mogga.

    bye bye promotion

Burton, Gillingham and Walsall's budgets are HUUUUUUUUGE!

Just listened to the after match

Burton have been consistent all season. Wigan aren't infallible though, despite their strength in depth. Poor, yet lucky result for them yesterday. It's all about us now O'driscoll has gone. With confidence back, and clearly lifted players, they're capable of winning 7/8 of our remaining...

Just listened to the after match

There's a much better chance we will now we've sacked O'Dismal. He poisoned our club from top to bottom. In a short space of time. The board acted, got rid and the players responded accordingly. We'd been consistent all season until O'Dismal tried to change things that weren't broken, upsetting...

For me, we need a change....

On paper if it was 10 years old maybe. The most rated players in the division - Mclaughlin, Maddison, Armstrong, Dack and Sawyers, Bradshaw and Henry from us are all in their early 20s at least, trying hard to make a career foe themselves, not sitting on money they made years ago,who don't have...

For me, we need a change....

Nothing wrong with loan players, or signings if used correctly. Mowbray got it very wrong bringing in old heads at a time you were doing well. Cole was perhaps acceptable, but then Hunt etc were just crazy. You bring experienced centre halves in, or experienced calm finishers - not aged...

    The delusion continues

Yep. I wonder how Burton, Walsall and Gillingham manage it.

    Not good tonight

The reply was about teams dropping points unexpectedly. They're not, whatever else could happen.

    Not good tonight

Have they? The leading teams have been pretty consistent all season, including recently and in the form table are still around the 2 points per game automatic promotion target....

    No Ambition

That's what happens when you waste wages on the likes of Cole and Hunt who are past it, instead of offering more to the likes of Maddison who offer more in the short term in terms of minutes, and more potential incoming £££££ in the long term. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

    Might help us...

It was right in a way, because the chairman will never spend more than we can afford, or his pension pot doesn't get topped up with the annual rent.
  18. M

    Might help us...

It's wrong. The rent is the first thing to be paid, and we make profit as standard. You're right we don't invest big in fees, but why would you when you can get the likes of Deeney, Grigg, Bradshaw, Sawyers, and Henry for free. More fool the others that pay over the odds to buy players on the...
