Of course you have. But how many do? If you want guaranteed promotion from this league with a decent budget, and expectation from impatient fans, then you get Simon Grayson in. He's done it for many clubs. This time at Preston, is the only time he hasn't been sacked early on after he's won...

With a well reported £8m budget. My nan could get any team promoted with that money, when the average budget is around £2m in League one. Actualy, that makes my nan a better manager than any of Sheffield United's recent managers.

    A foreign manager?

It's one thing managing in the PL with foreign players, and big budgets, but how many succeed at this level, or even the Championship? Hardly any is the answer. Different kind of football is English lower league, and they don't know the players or style of football. Martinez is an exception...

How anyone would favour Pearce is beyond me. He's achieved nothing as a manager. In fact, he's been awful. Being a bit passionate as a player doesn't equal being a good mananger.

    Mowbray needs to go

It's not about who is paying him; it's about how much he earns. He turns up in fancy cars etc, and disrupts players who are earning far less. It's demoralising.

Scunthorpe wouldn't. He also had a big budget for this league and failed miserably with them.

Got Bristol up with a multi million pound budget. Doubt he could repeat it on a low budget. He couldn't get Brizzle competing in the Championship on a level playing field.

Tell me why he should keep his job?

It took 3 years, because his best players were sold from underneath him every summer, and he didn't have anywhere near the budget Mowbray has to work with. Added to that, he signed young hungry players that the club made money on...not past-it players on high wages that don't have drive or...

Cole happened. Pay a player way more than anyone else and it pees off all the other players, and kills spirit in the dressing room. I said that at the time, but people fell for the rubbish about being the best player in the league.

See. That's the problem. Just because he was good once does not make him the greatest midfielder or best passer. It was just a trophy signing to get fans through the door, and was the real turning point of the season. The best midfielders in the division are the ones that will either get...

    If we lose tonight

So building a team on a low budget doesn't appeal in Coventry's position? Every manager has skeletons in the cupboard.
