Still no negotiations over a ricoh return!

Good point!..... but isn't that just situation that the Council are now in with the Ricoh?

Still no negotiations over a ricoh return!

Does it not seem like the council are biding their time waiting for something to happen? What could that be? Could they be hoping we will get promoted to strengthen their position in negotiations? maybe they would try and out-wait SISU's new stadium alternative? one season? two seasons? three...

    Leon Clarke

This isn't Rocket science! If another club comes in for him and offers him twice the salary we pay, how can you expect us to "keep" him? Lock him in the bog maybe?

    Such a shame

Second line of the OP said "We are all sky blue yet those bastards have divided the fan base and it's a sad state." Isn't that bitching?

    Such a shame

Wrong! Your logic is faulty. 90% + of City fans staying away has been a financial disaster that has hit our beloved club almost to oblivion!

    Ghost of New Years Past

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. It just spells out the risks that the owners have to face (alongside their main objective of securing our dislike of them)!

Do you think SISU would entertain that idea without first securing the freehold? and we;re told the council don't sell freeholds!........

    Ghost of New Years Past

It was decided to build a new stadium and the end of the Feethams era came on 3 May 2003, when the final match was played. A capacity crowd sawDarlington come back from two goals down to draw 2–2 with Leyton Orient..... !!!!

    Ghost of New Years Past

I don't have any answers! I wonder how much the rugby club paid? I wonder if Ann Lucas has seen this? They even left their previous ground intact! Check the picture of Feethams on this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darlington_F.C.
