I wonder how long it will be before this absolute caricature accuses someone of feeding beefburgers to swans?

That's nothing to what I've seen fed to the Swans on Quinton pool, ASDA Smartprice White Bread!

He's got his opinions and that's all they are. I haven't spoken to one person who doesn't wantSISU out. He doesn't reflect public opinion.

Challenge him psgm, you are normally well reasoned and well informed. Shame they didn't answer.

It is very clear that people only hear what they want to hear!! But then they only read what they want to read and use only the facts that fit some rather weak arguments and ignore others. Still 248 out of a crowd go 10000 must mean SBT represents the majority of CCFC fans.............

I think you need to have a good look at yourselves in the mirror, he's a man trying to do his job and you're all slating him? Get a life the lot of you

The really ridiculous thing is a web forum presents a much more fair and balanced view of a group of people than most mediums, namely *cough* local radio phone-ins. Yes there are a fair share of idiots like any cross-section of any populace you care to mention, but it's representative.

In my opinion, it's pretty clear from what Linnell is saying (and NOT saying) that he's made up his mind - and any reasoned, balanced individual would be a complete fool to do so at this point. So what does that make Mr Linnell?

I don't know why any of you listen to the phone-in. It's mind-numbing on a good day. Stopped listening to it years ago for my own sanity. At least on here if you disagree you can argue your point. Some plank says something on the radio you have no comeback and just end-up banging your head against the wall.

Has it occured to you that if he was doing his job properly, people wouldn't be slating him?

He works for the BBC. We pay his wages via the licence fee.

He has a duty to be fair and balanced. He isn't, and hasn't been throughout his sorry saga.

Mr Linnell says he is taking a level headed perspective ref SISU. The minute we do not agree with SISU out people say HE is biased.

Mr Linnell says SISU not going anywhere. Fan: The one thing that stays with this club is the fans. We should get everyone we know to go up the games. What this club is about is that the fans are passionate. Let's get the fans up.

2 Dates in mind....Appeal no additional points penalty. April 11.

Administrator has to file a report on the state of the club by May 26th.

Mark Caller: SISU have done a good job and ACL/ Council are to blame. Petty, small minded idiots. This action has been called to do maximum damage to SISU.

MR Linnell: There is the suggestion that this has been done to force the issue and get a new owner in.

Mr Linnell says that SISU would not have put us in to liquidation.

They have made a complete mess of this club, SISU admit it and want to make amends. If they want to do a deal who will it be? They will not go quietly or quickly. People can should SISU out as much as they want but it will not make a difference.

What has clearly broken down is Trust. Between one side and the other. If the loathing is mutual it is never likely to happen.

ACL says that he would be amazed if council didn't make some of the key ACL decisions.
The administrator will lay out the reasons for failure to agree on rent deal.

PSGM1 in trouble with Mr Linnell. He may want to discuss things with his lawyer. Phone him up and speak on air.

Mr Linnell says that it is a minority of fans are shouting SISU out. They are ill informed.

Juggy making some good points. Why did SISU put us in admin?

Why were SISU so keen to do this?

Mr Linnell: Because they have every right.

Skyblues talk: Some on that forum are mischief makers.

Juggy: It is the hard core fans who are suffering, the danger with this game that is going on is that we will be down to 7000 next season. We have been a laughing stock this week. When these people have gone the badge will still be there.

Juggy in the Crawley end for the game. This was because it was the only way he could get a ticket. (Despite the risk that there may be trouble if he sits amongst Crawley fans.

Councillor Kevin Mayton?: Wants to make it clear that it is not a political dispute, it is about the groud and other interests. He knows how difficult running the club is. I as a local coucillor has to make sure that investment in the Ricoh does not get wasted. He would like the supporters trust to take part. Does not accept that the new owners should have 100% of the stadium.
SL said it is OK saying the Trust should take part but where are they with the money?

This is a rough summary of some of the conversations today. This is not verbatim and apologise if I have misquoted anyone!

There's more plums on the radio phone ins than there is on here for sure.

"I don't think not all the people on SBT are true City fans!"

Did he spend his pocket money to go up to the match in the early 70's, I did!

Why does he attack fans but defend owners that have upset the fans by their tactics, if he could explain why he does that instead of alluding to "complex situations" & leaving all & sundry mystified about what the devil he means I might respect him. If he has got some inside knowledge that might change peoples point of view, then why can't he be a good journalist & spill the beans!

He clearly isnt allowed to speak about the issues of SISU on the radio so he cut the guy short

Balance Stuart, balance!!!

Objectivity and even-handedness? Ah, we can dream...we need a straight-talker like Adam Dent there to put him right.
