They can take a lot of confidence from Man City game.

Massive game as two losses on the bounce at home for the first time in what feels like years isn't a great start.But Brighton are a very good team and will be very tough need to get behind the lads.Same set up but new lad for EMC and yirenki in for Frank the tank as I think he was an absolute waste of time against Man city needs to show he is a tank.Looking forward to the Sunday 2 pm kick off.
 
Same system for this as we had against city. I’d throw Gboho straight in as his fit and ready to go. Rudi always benefits from have runs in the side so I would stick starting with him. Could be chaotic game this one, I’m expecting a lot of goals

Think hes played a full pre seaosn and two french league games already.

I guess the alternative you put him in vs villa that is "less important"

Oh yeah deffo play him against Villa.

I like the idea of the carnage and pace of Tuna and Gboho behind Big T though for home games.

Yep. Think it could be a good balance to a defensive set up like a back 5

Brighton would have been looking at this game as a probable win before Saturdays game. Now they won't be as confident. Will they now plan to pin us back in our own half when they've seen how we can cope with it against a better side than them?

It's a home game. We need to start winning the games with home advantage and our 12th man. I can see us taking the game to them, but they will be more open than Hull.
 
We all expected a massacre at Man City but saw a well-drilled, efficient and confident team who showed that they can compete against the very best on their home turf. Pinnock clearly makes a huge difference and I believe a back three of him, Thomas and Amenda will be the foundation for success going forward.

Would expect largely the same XI and system as Man City, possibly with EMC replaced with one of Tchouna or Ghobo. Feeling quietly confident for this one.
 
Tchaouna in for EMC. Gboho to come off the bench. Rest of the team the same

Let them have the ball, stay in the game, Bobby bundles in a winner from a set piece.

Only one change for me being Rudoni for Tuna. Outside of that, Brighton will want as much as the ball as possible so same again.

We need 4 points from the next 2, I fancy a win here against a top team, after Saturday I feel we will grow into the season and start getting more positive results , going for 2-1 and I'd bring in Gboho and Tchaouna supporting Big T
 
I think he keeps it consistent whilst we're still waiting for our first goal and points.

I think form at home this season is going to be critical so a point would be okay, a win would be brilliant.
Brighton are a decent team, but fancy a 2-1 win
 
I thinks likely to be the same team. Maybe different subs. I’d like to see Torp and Hamer and Sakamoto get a bit more time.
 
Thought this was Sunday as presumed Brighton were playing in Europe this week but the UECL does not start until next month!

Could have done with them coming back from the back end of beyond after a slog of a game on Thursday night

I'd take 3 points from the next 2 games. 2 points wouldn't be the end of the world either. Just need to get a foothold. I'm glad the international break is taking place when it is. Will give some of the players time to get up to speed and for FL and co to spend time with players who have only recently arrived.
 
I am in Albufeira for this one and the plan is to find a Sports Bar to watch it, hoping the 12PM Old Firm Cup Game does not run into extra time and pens as can see me being outnumbered in terms of game preference

I assume Gboho and Mfuni will come in.

Is that BTA and Lati dropping out? Although BTA came on against Man City.
