Do we need another CB if we stay as a back 4?

LBs: JDS/Bard/Mfuni
CBs: Amenda/Thomas/Pinnock/Mfuni
RBs: MVE/KKH

Bard would provide the flexibility to flex between 4 and 5 ATV, but don't necessarily need another CB to do it.

We had a period before he was dropped where we conceded two against QPR, Norwich, Birmingham, Ipswich and kept something like two clean sheets in 12.

He’s “in demand” by one lower midtable club on loan.

He'll be moved on for the same reason Thomas will likely be a backup moving fwd.....prone to recklessness and not good enough on the ball
 
Sounds like Stoke might go for Tom Cannon from Sheffield United. Had hoped they might go for Simms.

Sort loans for the surplus players now the squad is taking shape and work on selling them in January if need be. People panic too much.
