Transfer Rumour Summer Transfer Window 2026 (30 Viewers)

I think it is referencing Cherifs fitness or lack of
The translation is brilliant. Basically saying - Jesus, if he isn't considered fit enough for that shit lot in Sky Blue, then Fenerbache have got serious problems!

I can’t quite figure out what this is all saying and who the player is. But mention Coventry…

Have you tried translating it into Dutch then to English? We may find out who it is? Or could they be talking about….?

Gap…hmm I’m not sure I buy this after 1 game regardless of who we’ve played. If we stay up some people will say it was the weakest premier league in years anyway!

I put my money on us finishing top half of the league. Sunderland did it. So can we.
Top half finish! I’ll have some of what you are having 🤣

Sunderland also lost 3-0 at the Emirates last season.

Some of the takes on this forum is just hysterical. If we get more than 20 points away from home, we’ve done brilliantly.

One of the worst takes has been dropping Grimes because he didn’t play like Rodri against Arsenal.
I don’t think it’s that bad a take. It was my feeling before the game that if we didn’t have more possession it might not be worth playing him. As a one game sample it demonstrated that. I would hope we have more possession against Hull however so I would start him.

So who would you have played instead of him to help?

Hamer I think would have more potential on the counter? Btw I think the result would have been exactly the same against Arsenal whoever we played, but in general if we don’t have more possession Onyeka, Hamer and Yirenyki seem more potent.

I think every fan can live with the result to be fair. I think the issue is more we hardly caused them any problems. Would have just liked to have seen us win some tackles in the middle of the pitch and being braver with the ball. We had several set pieces where we need to be as good as we were last season but never looked threatening on any of them.

Now I’m not saying it’s going to be like that every week. But it’s more than just oh we are playing arsenal that’s why we lost. If we play like that again Saturday, Hull will beat us as well.

But gotta draw a line under it now and look to Tuesday to start building some momentum to take into Saturday and hopefully our concerns will be put to rest. Not gonna get on players backs they’ve earnt trust and time but they need to believe they are good enough to be at the top table.

I agree with this, the only caveat being Hamer still looks a few weeks off being properly match fit and sharp. But once he does get up to speed I’d have in ahead of Grimes in games where we’ll be on the back foot.

I can't see KKH going without being replaced, Lati was the bench cover if he had to go off but RB needs better depth.
I would expect Rapha definitely (he's 22) and Andrews maybe (he's still U21) to go on loan in the next week.
Woolf is injured I don't think we know much about what the injury is and how long it is going to keep him out, so no move for him this window, maybe in January.
Dovin isn't quite fit yet, I can see him not being registered till January. I find it difficult to figure out what's up with him.
Brau has been tenuously linked with Unión Deportiva Almería, but no more info has been forthcoming. I expect him to leave this week.
I sort of think Bidwell will remain around, he is a good role model.

Doug, Dean and Frank have a stressful week ahead of them.
Brau out on loan.

Top half, not a chance. Hulls defence different level to ours. We may stay up, but I think all 3 promoted teams will be down NEAR the bottom

Good move for Brau to top flight of Portugal. Hope he does well. He joined us and is a popular member of the squad. Never complains and it’s been tough for him. Only wish him the best with his loan.
‘BRAU, this song, is about you about you about you’

My favourite memory of him and what a memory that is! Best of luck to him.

Coventry City report: "He needs two weeks." There is a problem at Fenerbahçe. This is very bad news; it is not good news for Fenerbahçe. Coventry City is not Manchester City. The implication is that if he needs two weeks even for *that* level, he is very far off from our level. (Sports Digitale)

With KKH left out the squad and Aarons covering both sides. Even though the source is rubbish- i could see this happening.

Rubbish use of our 2 loans though. Aarons and the Man city chap. Doesn't scream that anything more ambitious is close..

You can’t be seriously moaning about ambition after the window we have just had 🤦🏻‍♂️

We still have Bidwell as back up left back. JDS as starting left back... and Lati as 2nd choice RB currently btw...

why doesn't it?

also you admit it is a nonsense source but you could see it happening with no evidence?

and the best team I the world made no progress down the right - all their penetration was down their left attacking MVE who made major mistakes. JDS was one of our best players on the night.

Is he running his contract down for a signing on fee

Probably already pointed out, but we have the option of a further year, so no.

Not on any planet did JDS play well vs Arsenal. And if you think that you're accepting mediocrity.

We were an injury away from playing lati at RB or Kitching at LB in that game too. Rubbish squad planning..
