Transfer Rumour Summer Transfer Window 2026 (11 Viewers)

Need at least 4 if not 5/6.

Ideally

2nd choice keeper
LCB
LB
LW
ST
ST (depending on outgoing?

For me the left side of the team is still weak and the striker dept.
How many outgoings????
Can’t believe Bidwell or Eccles will stay. Having said that Eccles was excellent as a sub on Saturday

I’m not Ukrainian and I don’t mind Russians in general playing for us but not ones who support the war.
This is nonsense. I’m pro-Ukraine but Golovin would be a quality signing.

He is understandably going to be ‘neutral’ about the war given the propensity of Russian public figures that oppose the regime who end up having tragic ‘accidents’.

I don’t think we’ll sign him anyway, but it’s good to be linked with quality players.

He’s probably got family in Russia, so chances are he’s going to remain neutral on it.
Yep, this is the thing. If he criticises the war, it potentially puts his family in danger. It's a difficult position for him. As much as we'd all like him to speak out against it, it's a dangerous thing to do.

If Wright is out for anything like that period of time we certainly have an issue. BTA can play there and obviously Simms. I didn’t think we’d sign a CF but to be honest although Wright is way ahead on talent he seems to be very delicate.

Dovin loan
Brau perm
Woolf perm
Andrews loan
A midfielder perm (don’t know who but we’re stacked especially if Gomes comes in as well)
Raphael perm
Wright perm (who knows if he’s injured but he has 12 months left on contract)

That we were apparently looking into getting Openda on loan to me would suggest we were at least looking at getting in a striker before this injury to Haji. Now Haji is injured, I would imagine has expedited the search.

I certainly don’t have the confidence that many seem to have in BTA, I did not think he was good on Saturday, and the end of last season was back to the BTA from the previous season, imo

That’s why I’m saying we need 2. Perm option and loan

Everyone believes they’re the noble person who’d speak out against an evil regime… until it’s them who actually has to deal with the consequences.

If Golovin had spoken out in favour of the war as some athletes have, that’s one thing. He’s said nothing about the war one way or another and that’s the appropriate stance. Therefore, I have no objections to signing him.

Where’s this Haji injured rumor come from? Any truth to it?

Heard from someone who knows a member of the club groundstaff that Haji was injured in training recently. No other details.

Really good player but I wouldnt be against someone whos more hardy

We needed that other player before Haji's "injury". It's now a top priority position for additions.

I know one of the groundstaff and he doesn't have a clue if Haji is injured or not, we will just have to wait and see.

I think if both are happy to stay Lampard will keep them for their dressing room influence. They showed on Saturday they both clearly have the ability to play in the PL. We still need a LB obviously given Bidders age but id think Brau Woolfenden Rafael will be the ones moved on. Maybe Torp as well

I love Wright been one of the clubs best ever signings in our history. Sadly he is getting very injury prone now and i thought last season he seemed to have lost a bit of pace and all these injuries will probably affect his pace which was one of his big assets when he came here. At 27 years old he is at his maximum value now so i do think the club may cash in if a good bid comes in. Id be gutted to see him go if that happened but it would also make sense business wise

I would like a new striker though, issue if Wright is or gets injured in the future.

Don’t be silly
Have you ever been to USA or Japan? Just two examples.
There is a reason why so many people are leaving the UK. Hasnt there been a record number of millionaires leaving past few years? This isnt a political point btw, im not blaming any specific party, this country has been in decline for decades now

I really don't think the US is miles ahead infrastructure wise

West Ham after Vardy on a free transfer.
Wonder if we have a sell on after his brief stint with us last year!?😎

The problem now with getting players quite late in the day is they possibly won't be match fit and certainly won't know how the team operate
