Transfer Rumour Summer Transfer Window 2026 (11 Viewers)

I seem to be in the minority here, but I'd be happy to see Gus back.

Has always looked Sheff Utd's most dangerous player when we've played them and I'd trust Frank and co to get the best out of him.
you the bloke from kebbish?

sounds like Haji is being actively offered around. suggests the club want to cash in

Buying Hamer would not be a good signing.
To me it comes down to price.

He is certainly better than some of our present players. I wouldn't bring him back to be a starter, but not a bad player off the bench or in case of injuries. And if bringing him back also got him his mojo back he could easily become an important piece of the jigsaw.

More like maybe a little agent talk, wishful thinking from some clubs and also the normal rubbish from people trying to make out they're ITK.

Wright is now a Prem player. That was his aim when he came to us. Can't see him being desperate to leave unless a club above us shows interest.

Is Hamer going on that lazy ‘rumoured EVERY single window’ list with Chris Eagles, Jamie Paterson, James Collins and whoever else?

He doesn’t make us weaker that’s for certain and if it’s a cut price deal then why not?

Maybe that's because he is still better than Simms and Lampard does not have a habit of publicly criticising players.

I bet Lampard is equally frustrated at the enigma that is Wright in private.
How do you know what Lampard and Wright get up to in private

In the Championship the top side can lose to a side in the bottom 3. In our first game we're 17/1 to win. It would be seen as a shock win.

True but our first season in the championship was like men against boys when we played the likes of Norwich, Brentford and Bournemouth- the championship though always has loads of sides beneath the top 6 that are always inconsistent and beatable. You do worry in the PL that every side has spent enough money to be competitive and with better managers that can set up better than the league below.

Gus' agent has been telling someone he's going back to Coventry.

That I do know Pete.
Varney has already recycled this on to Facebook 😆

On Sheffield United forum 😆 🤣 😂

From what FL has said, you won’t get as many different styles in the Prem, but you will get teams who know that style inside out.

That probably will suit him based on how he’s been drilling the team to play a certain way.

The striker market is insane at the moment, look at the lad who went to Ipswich. Scored 8 career goals and cost 20 something million.

Andrew Driver has entered the chat. Memories!
